Adults only hotel. Offering an outdoor pool with a sun terrace, Villa Elite is located in the centre of Koutouloufari Village. It features accommodation with self-catering facilities. A really lovely holiday BUT....
Reviewed By JanKirMy partner and I arrived late evening to a warm welcome from Vagelis the very charming and lovely barman who showed us to our apartment which was split level with the bedroom and shower room being downstairs. On reflection we thought that for our needs a single level apartment would be more suitable and asked if we could possibly change apartments. This was done within minutes and we were shown to a single level apartment with all the necessary requirements for our stay. A clean, comfortable bed, shower room and little kitchen/sitting area leading out onto a small patio area with table and chairs and clothes rack. The bedding and towels were changed and the apartment serviced frequently during our stay by the lovely, very hardworking Miranda. Joanna who works at the pool bar and the upstairs rooftop bar was also a pleasure to meet. She was so pleasant, articulate and kind not to mention hardworking, providing tasty, freshly cooked food from the menu if requested. The BUT in my review title and only downside to our holiday was the fact that the two idiots in room 105 were unable to conduct themselves with any thought for the other guests staying in the complex. They were loud, played loud music and got louder still once the alcohol and openly smoked marijuana kicked in! We were awakened early Sunday morning to loud banging and shouting, one of the idiots was locked out of their shared room and was trying to get in by taking a wooden chair to the door after seemingly knocking on other guests doors asking to be let in! The broken chair and scarred door were left for someone else to deal with while he decided to sleep it off on a sun lounger by the pool. This was unacceptable behaviour by any standard and senior management should have dealt with this pair to ensure that other paying guests were not further subjected to their loutish behaviour. Joanna was staying overnight that night and was also shaken by the experience and she certainly wasn’t expected to approach and try to deal with these two. However since they seemed to go from bad to worse it appears that they were given free rein to behave as they wished. So an otherwise lovely holiday tarnished by the behaviour of two grown men and a seeming lack of management intervention.

Wonderful apartments and devine Taverna

The are the most wonderful hosts and the apartments are absolutely spotless. They have an onsite taverna and pizzeria which is also run by the family. The standard of food is excellent inducing the lasagna, which is the best I have ever had anywhere in the world. Koultouloufari is a beautiful traditional greek village, and this family will make sure that you have an absolutely fabulous holiday.

Romantica Beach Villas is a wonderful 3 star hotel in Greece beside a Spring Beach, and very near Star Beach Water Park Activities. Beside the hotel, an unspoiled beach paradise, is the ideal place to relax and regenerate. The hotel offers a swimming pool with jacuzzi, deck chairs and umbrellas, with an excellent view to the open sea, which you can enjoy even from your bed, listening to the sounds of the sea.Even more, you can enjoy fishing, surfing, diving , horse riding or experience long peaceful walks.On the evenings you can choose between peaceful local taverns or cosmopolitan bars and discos of the area.

Reviewed By sarahs13804Our holidays at the Romantica Beach Apartements were absolutely amazing. The apartment was spacious and had a little kitchen who was big enough to cook our own meals. The best part about the apartement was the balcony - the view was absolutely breathtaking, I‘ll never forget our breakfast mornings and sunset dinners in front of that view by the stunning sea. The place has a lovely pool with some sunloungers and as soon as you cross the street you can hop into the sea through big rocks. 5 minutes away from the apartement there’s a big grocery store, you can also find many more little supermarkets on the way. In just 10 minutes (walking) you‘ll reach the centre of Chersonisou wich is filled with good restaurants and stores - of course it‘s more of a touristic place, but there are also a lot of untouristic places around you can find. In case you‘d like to drive around the isle we recommend you to rent a Quad - they‘re not that expensive (ca. 60 euros per day, depends what kind of Quad) and our little drives to malia (ca. 15 minutes) and chersonisou definetly enriched our experience. Lasty, we‘d like to thank the hosts of Romantica Beach. They were incredibly welcoming and generous, we sometimes even received freshly cooked traditional greek food to try! Overall we definetly recommend the apartements at Romantica Beach - if you are looking for a lovely and calm place to stay, with a stunning view included, there‘s no better place.

Reviewed By Cristy176It was a pleasure stay here for one week. Tina is a really good person, she is friendly, hospitable and attentive. We really felt like home.the breakfast is delicious with local products, the structure is near to centre( about 5 minute) of hersonissos but far from the noise. Also the old hersonissos is not far away (about 10 minute). The apartment was big, clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and a dehor in front of the entrance to relax. Is a good choice for an holiday in Crete.

The complex was built in 2003 according to the traditional Cretan architecture , constructed with natural materials , like stone and wood , garantees the quality and healthyness of your vacation. The villas provides four or three bedrooms,a fully equiped kitchen, a living room with tv tunner and hi-fi, one bathroom with jacuzzi and one or two wc's, surrounded by garden with BBQ and a 25 sqm private pool with sunbeds and a kids pool. The owner and architect, as well, of the resort, tried with passion and care to create a comfotable and relaxing environment for you to enjoy your vacation.

Luxury they were not, and peaceful it certainly wasn't! Surrounded by villas full of young people having parties blasting dance music out all night, and I mean ALL NIGHT. This carried on for the whole two weeks - we were left sleep deprived. The villas are in no way suitable for families - more like and 18/30s club complex. Certainly not luxury, had to pay extra for air conditioning and try cooking a family meal with 1 pan! If you want a family holiday, then do not go here. Worst holiday I've ever had.

Dreamy stay in Bronze Suite
Reviewed By B1488WBkatiehWe have just stayed in the bronze suite for 4 nights and honestly cannot fault it. The room itself is beautiful with a large balcony overlooking the harbour. Really comfy bed and fully equipped kitchen. There is a rooftop with lovely sunbeds where you can sunbathe. We were the only ones using it for the whole trip which was such a treat! The location is at the end of the strip so you are super close to all of the bars and restaurants. We didn’t have any issues with noise at all, but that could have been because we were slightly out of season. Would recommend this apartment to all and really hope to return soon!

Reviewed By Liza-00001This hotel is absolutely different... the owners make you feel at home as soon as you arrive, a warm and personal welcome, which is not a standard nowadays... a refreshing experience! They will do everything to make sure you are having the best time possible. The rooms are basic, but in my opinion cosy and comfortable, I had a great view from my super large balcony, waking up with coffee while watching out over the pool, palms and sea, what else could you possibly need <3
