Fabio was a fantastic guide. He is passionate, engaging and incredibly knowledgable about all stages of the harvest, wine production and tasting. Very well organized. Easy walking in low lying coastal Algarve, staying in the same hotel throughout. We enjoyed having the same driver, Antonio, for airport transfers and journeys to the start of daily walks. A suggestion for us Americans - if you included miles along with km.

We booked a full day's tour with Paulo in his lovely vintage camperdown and we were so glad! Paulo clearly took great care to plan a special day for our family. In the morning we visited beautiful coves and enjoyed a swim before lunch at a popular peri-peri restaurant. This was followed by an afternoon at a fabulous vineyard, relaxing in a stunning infinity pool overlooking the beautiful scenery between wine tastings and tapas. We finished the day at yet another gorgeous spot, enjoying the incredible sunset and Paulo's carefully prepared picnic of local tapas. Paulo was simply brilliant company all day, our kids loved him (our daughter enjoyed chatting nonstop!). Paulo, thank you for sharing your local history and special places. We loved every minute - we won't forget this truly special day! Best wishes from Newcastle upon Tyne!

Seeing the coastline from the sea is an adventure in itself. The caves are strange but beautiful. The boat and crew are in good shape, and everybody tries is best to help you. I need some help getting in and out the small boat, and that was fine. You have to take the music on the boat as it is, I could have done without it. I could have stayed on the Ophelia all day!

Seeing the coastline from the sea is an adventure in itself. The caves are strange but beautiful. The boat and crew are in good shape, and everybody tries is best to help you. I need some help getting in and out the small boat, and that was fine. You have to take the music on the boat as it is, I could have done without it. I could have stayed on the Ophelia all day!

Go past two roman influenced villages, enter a skull chapel (if you are brave enough!!!) Visit a protected lake and relax in a swimming pool or plunge into the ocean.

One hell of a day, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The driver was always explaining everything and taiking care of us, for sure an expirience to repeat.

We were fortunate to have booked with Johnny´s Tours. Our guide and driver was impeccably attentive and correct. Thank you so much Joau for your patience.All our questions were answered as he was very knowledgeable about the history of Silves and its surroundings without this tour we would not be able to discover certain places that he showed us. Lunch was delicious and the restaurant staff was wonderful. in the end of the day we end up in a fishing village having green wine and roasted octopus we will recommend Joau to our friends. Can´t wait to return.

The whole experience from the time our driver picked us up from the station to when he dropped us back was amazing! The tour it itself was a bit short and didn’t get to go down the vineyard but actually the history, the cellar and where they produced the wine was really Interesting and a lot of insightful information. The wine tasting was great, all wines were of top quality and the staff were friendly. I would defo go back again but I would like to spend more time there if I do!

My husband and I went to Portugal for our honeymoon and this tour was one of the highlights our trip! There was one other couple that came with us, so it was a very small group and felt like a private tour. We toured and did tastings at two wineries that both were VERY good! I only wish these wines were available in the US. We also got to explore this little town in Lago for about an hour and see Leiria Castle. Our tour guide was energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable. This tour exceeded my expectations and it will exceed yours too!
