Santiago was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. He coordinated drop off of the bikes at our Airbnb in the afternoon and was super easy about picking it up from where we were at in town later in the evening. Riding the e-bikes were a great way to experience the different areas in El Calafate that would have been too much to walk. Santiago provided a map with different areas of interest which we were able to ride to. Having the e-bikes were super helpful for going uphill and on the unpaved roads. After a long day of riding, our legs felt great!

This Tour is totally unique! We take the traveler as a companion on the motorcycle ("Mototaxi" style). Or if you had a motorcycle, we will guide you through the region. It is totally new! There are no motorcycle tours of that kind in the entire region. It is a totally new way of observing nature, of living, seeing and smelling landscapes. To feel the wind, to feel the smells. To be able to feel the curves of a route or the 360 vision (towards the sides and up and down). Riding a motorcycle is living nature from the inside. This excursion has all the adventure that involves riding a motorcycle. It is totally unique. I am the pioneer of this new idea in the region and I am very happy about that.

We are experts in water activities. We love what we do and enjoy every moment of this activity. Snorkeling with sea lions is an incredible activity that surprises us every day and will surprise you too. This activity is carried out only in 3 places in the world and in Puerto Madryn its the place with the greatest amount of animals. they are super friendly and love to interact with people. Our main concern is always to care for the animal and the environment, so our boats have all the measures required for the care of the environment. This activity is ideal for cruise passengers as times adjust perfectly, which allows them to even have time to visit the city.

Inclusions: Use of Snorkelling equipment, Private transportation, Coffee and/or Tea, Snacks

I was with a friend in holidays in Puerto Madryn and we discovered sea lions first at the reserva naturaleza Punta Loma. We really enjoyed this visit, mainly the fact seeing them in their natural environment without annoying them. After we discovered it was possible to go snorkel with them with Abramar. It was an amazing experience with their team! People of Abramar were very professional, welcoming and very respectful with sea lions and the sea that is the most important for us. We spent 45 minutes in the water with these animals, they were very curious and player with us. One of the guys of Abramar in the water with us took photos and videos of these so good moments. After that we had a snack on the boat, to warm up before returning to the beach. We did it during winter time but don't worry about that and the water's temperature; we don't feel it with the suit during the swim and once on the boat the guys warmed up us with hot water that was so nice. Thus they are used to deal with people a bit sensitive to the cold. My friend and I keep so good memories of this unforgettable adventure and we recommend everybody to take part to this with this super team.

After the disembarkation we access the refuge where the guides organize the groups that are composed each up to 20 people. Then we start a walk along the lake shore for approximately 20 minutes to the glacier. Upon reaching the edge of the ice the guides place the crampons to the participants, who receive instructions on how they should move on the ice. The tour on the glacier is done in about 2 hours, and during the course of it you can see a variety of ice formations such as cracks, seracs, sinkholes, small lagoons. The walk is moderate. The ice surface on which you walk is irregular, but firm and safe. Explanations will be received about the flora, fauna and general glaciology of the region as well as the particular phenomenon that occurs in the Perito Moreno glacier and eventually produces its rupture. At the end of the walk, you will return to the refuge through the exuberant Magellan forest, and then take the catamaran back to Puerto Bajo de Las Sombras.

Inclusions: Hotel pickup and drop-off hotels located at Calafate downtown areas, Crampons to the participants, Guide for all the tour, Pick up time could be at 8 AM or at 1 PM depending on the availability in high season

Exclusions: Gratuities, National Park fees, Take a lunch box to have a meal in the woods at the side of the lake, before embarking., Transfers Calafate airport to Calafate Hotel are not included, Food or Drinks

Not worth it, I'm afraid. Too expensive to get to see just one of the glaciers, the Spegazzini one. (The Upsala glacier can only be seen from afar, as it's deemed too risky to approach). The journey was too long and quite uncomfortable (the ferry I took was the Quo Vadis). Too many people travelling. The ferry was 80% full in Covid times, which I found unsensible and irresponsible. We could not choose where to sit or change seats afterwards. The Spegazzini refuge is partly open. You can take a (rather short) walk in the woods, but the café/restaurant/toilet area is (still) closed and looks quite derelict. I've taken other tours in the area (Perito Moreno Glacier/ Canal Beagle/Full day at Chalten) and they were less expensive, better organised and far more enjoyable than this one.

We work with small groups of up to 18 passengers in a familiar and friendly environment with the company of professional Spanish and English speaking guides. The excursions are carried out with the "KAMS and" TELIENKA "yachts, twin vessels of 15 meters in length, which due to their dimensions allow a maximum approach to the islands allowing preferential sightings. During our tour we visit Isla Alicia, Isla de Pájaros and Isla de Lobos, where we make very close sightings of the fauna of the Beagle Channel. We know the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse built in 1919, a true emblem of the City of Ushuaia. At the end, we disembark at Bridges Island to walk a path of interpretation of flora and birds, telling the story of the Yámanas aborigines. Here are the largest Yámana anthropogenic shells in the region. It also has a panoramic point from where we can observe the magnificence of the Beagle Channel with the City of Ushuaia in the distance.

Inclusions: Coffee, tea varieties, hot chocolate, the typical Argentine mate and sweet cookies

We chose this particular tour because it included an opportunity to get out on one of the islands and walk a while. The guide shared interesting information about the indigenous people and showed us some archaeological remains as well as shared the importance of different native plants. The views from the island were gorgeous, and we took beautiful pics there. Of course, like other channel tours we were up close to the sea lions and birds on their respective islands. When we sailed around the lighthouse, the boat stopped so the guide could take your picture with the lighthouse in the background with your own camera. On the way back we were served coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies as well as a local liquor. During the ride the guide explained interesting information about the Tierra del Fuego and its history in both Spanish and English using large maps and photos as visuals. We even saw a two-day-old sea lion pup! This was a delightful morning and good value for the price! Would highly recommend this channel tour!!

The experience of discovering how german speaking immigration shaped the town look & feel, the architecture, and the mountain sports culture since the begining of times. This set the basis for the arrival of the last wave of immigation including the nazi presence (Erik Priebke). This also triggered some stories about Hitler living in the area. We wil explore evidence of all the above.
