My son and I had an amazing day with Din! After so long inside because of the lockdown, it was wonderful to get outside and explore! This is our third adventure with Din. He always takes very good care of us. He is knowledgeable and shares personal stories along the way. We would not have been able to do this on our own. He has the entire trip carefully timed and planned. Everything we saw and did this day was a unique and enjoyable experience. The only downside was that we did not get to enjoy the Firefly Park as they were closed. Highly recommend this experience and this host!!

This was a great experience and would highly recommend it! The tickets were delivered to the entrance of Petronas Twin Towers as I was in transit for the day, usually tickets delivered to hotel that you would be staying in. Communication was great and in a timely manner.

Some great sites, but the view of the Petronas towers is in a random road a fair way away from the towers themselves (our hotel was closer with a better view). Two of the stops were definite 'fake tourism' situations, whereby the tour company clearly has a deal with the places (only visitors here are those on tours). The guide fell asleep a couple of times throughout the experience, and it was felt that at the end, they wished to go home and either rush us on or drop us elsewhere so we could make our own way back... One of the stops you visit we were told we would have 40 minutes, but as it's 25 past, I'll round it and give you until quarter to... (i.e. giving 20 minutes). This wasn't enough time to go in to the museum... which also isn't included in the price?! Overall I'd say this was a slightly expensive taxi service, with some nice details given within the ride.

We drove through kampung road before arriving at MHC. But after driving out in the evening, the kampung route wasnt scary no more. We stayed two nights in MIn House Camp. four to a room. Good aircond. Very small toilet and bathroom but adequate hot water shower albeit at low pressure. Parking is not an issue unless there is a big group here for meeting. Yes, they have a small conference room!! We went canoeing in the evening. We had char kueh teow timur-style for dinner with the local specialty teh limau madu. The next morning we had nasi kerabu kambing/daging berasap for breakfast. The dinner and breakfast outlets were just outside the kampung on the main road.. Kak Yah shared with us on composting and aquaponics. We collected lokan or clams in the evening when it was raining. It was an experience wading in the knee-deep mud and using bare hands to feel for the clam shells. After dinner we walked to a nearby bridge to look at fireflies. The fireflies here are of the synchronous kind. The following morning before departure, we had a look at stingless beehouses and sip a small sample of pure honey from the egg-shaped pots. This is a must thing-to-do if one travel to kota bharu. Thank you Kak Yah and family.
