An amazing experience. Brenton was very knowledgeable about the area and the canoeing. Would recommend to anyone wanting to experience the mouth of the Murray up close and personal. The food and conversations was a high light. Well worth the time and seeing dolphins and seals was an added bonus. So to were Nanna’s biscuits :-)

So worth the time and money to get memories to last forever. Time went so quickly, got close to seals, sea lions, birds, dolphins, wild and rugged clifs. Tour guide (Sophie) and Master (Lachlan) were very knowledgeable and gave an interesting commentary. When we saw a wild pod of dolphins we stoped near them for so everyone could get to see them. Being a small boat everyone is move around and get to see all the sights within being crowded. We recommend this tour and will go again during ???? whale watching season.

Throughout a guided tour we showcase to guests the behind-the-scenes intricacies of how a wine is crafted by the winemaker - our guests get to go where most wineries do not allow. At Shottesbrooke, guests can expect hands-on sensory experiences, barrel and finished wine tastings, and amazing opportunities to view our working winery operations up close. Our tour is followed by sparkling on arrival and an incredible three-course dining experience at The Currant Shed. The Currant Shed's culinary team brings many years of experience to their kitchen. With varied experience across many regions around the world, they have the remarkable ability to translate the flavours of the land directly onto the plate using some of the Fleurieu, and South Australia's best produce, sourced from a raft of local suppliers. Each dish is handcrafted and has its own individual story.

We hired bikes for 3 adults and 3 boys aged 15, 12 and 11 and all easily managed to ride these eBikes around to various wineries after picking them up from the McLaren Vale visitor center. They’re quality bikes and we had zero issues with them, riding up some serious hills was very manageable even for those of us who aren’t regular riders. Shayne was easy to deal with and we would recommend this business to anyone thinking of trying an eBike winery tour.

I have lived on the wine coast since 1976 and count the best wine makers in the Vale as my mates; I want you to meet them so they can share their passion with you. Inclusions: I will guide you the whole day. I will take photos and share them with you at the end of the day.

Exclusions: I will chat with you before the tour about lunch. We can go from cheap to expensive but wherever we decide, it will be good., Wine tastings fees (usually $10 but free if you buy a bottle).

Luke choose some very interesting wineries that made the day very enjoyable. He had a lot of knowledge about the area that he passed on to us. Because of Covid, we had to cancel and rebook a number of times and Luke was very accommodating with this.

Wow! What an experience. A friend and I camped out at the site (Langhorne creek) the night before so we were there for our early jump in the morning. All the guys/girls who worked there were super friendly and eased any nerves I had as a first time jumper. The instructions given were clear and I felt very safe. The view when we got up there was amazing! Clear day, but beware it’s pretty cold up there so wear some warm clothes! The jump itself was such a surreal feeling, I can’t wait to do it again. Maybe even learn to do it solo ????
