It is certainly not the largest regional shopping Centre in the area but it serves the area well. Village Cinemas Knox

Reviewed By James H - Mount Evelyn, Australia

Avid movie-lover here - Village cinemas Knox has been a favourite of mine in 2015 and 2016, and with the new rewards system in place it's a favourite of mine in 2017 as well.
The new rewards system allows regular visitors to rack up large amounts of points to redeem for great products at the candy bar/cinema and in a very short period of time. It also does a terrific job of catering for its patrons with well-cleaned cinemas, a wide selection of treats at the candy bar and a great gaming arcade to use while you wait for your movie!
The gold-class is terrific and the prices are competitive for normal and premium tickets.
The only thing holding it back from a 5 star rating was the need of recliner chairs in the standard cinemas - a difference proving valuable that Hoyts is taking advantage of.
All in all a great cinema!

Knox Club

Reviewed By Imkennedy - Wantirna, Australia

The Knox Club is a very convenient, comfortable and welcoming spot on corner of Stud & Boronia roads. Only visited as a guest at this stage, but seriously considering becoming a member. As we are visiting their bistro on a fairly regular basis. The menu is quite varied and well priced and senior meals, great value with two course for $14.00 and generous serve as well. My wife and I both had the roast of the day ( it was Lamb) with veggies, mint sauce and gravy. It was very tasty and just the right size, not too big, or small. One doesn’t need to be a member to visit, only photo ID and you are welcome. Go for a meal in the bistro, a drink in their sports bar. Plenty of parking and if you enjoy a flutter on the pokies, then they have those as well. Golden Pebble Hotel is across the road and the club would make a great option for an evening meal. Give it a try..

Blind Creek Trail

Reviewed By Bob F - Wantirna, Australia

My wife and I walk along the Blind Creek Trail most mornings, rain, hail or shine. It could be so much better, if only the Knox Council, or the Parks and Gardens department would cut the grass regularly, and also clear the dead trees away. It could be so nice. Also, the underground walkways and bike tracks should be cleared of debris, because it hasn't been done for a LONG time. Knox Council, please take note.

TunzaFun Xtreme - Knox

Reviewed By Mick A - Melbourne, Australia

Visited on a cold wet day and was very pleased. We did the climbing walls, and while some were challenging they were all fun. Both staff members were awesome and full of enthusiasm. We had a problem with one the games machines but it was sorted really quickly. Even when leaving and 'spending' the tickets was an enjoyable pleasure.
Thanks guys.

It's doggy paradise at one of Melbourne's biggest off leash parks. There are toilet facilities, covered BBQ, drinking bowls and nearby bush walks. There is a huge variety of bird life and wildlife...the downside here being snakes. I have seen two in the past 12 months.

Shepherds Bush

Reviewed By JohnG3121 - Greater Melbourne, Australia

A lovely relaxing place to see what the Dandenong creek wetlands may have looked pre-industrialisation. You can walk along a boardwalk that takes you through swamp surrounded by Silver wattle, swamp paperback and manna gums. You stand a very good chance of glimpsing numerous species of birds many which are quite rare. I spotted white heron, numerous duck species and sacred kingfishers. At night you will see numerous species of possums. The best way to visit is via the tiny parking area that is easy to miss on high st rd. The main car park is situated in nortons park and you follow Dandenong creek trail through shepherds bush and leads you all the way to the lovely jells park. It's a shame that the neighbouring Napier park baseball arena on the opposite side of the Dandenong creek doesn't have a connecting trail and bridge bcos that side is stunning.

Located on Burwood Highway near Mountain Highway this is a large tract of land hardly seen from the road but affords a beautiful and peaceful walking environment (and cycling also) It covers an area of 92 ha with defined and not so defined walking/cycling trails.
Small billabongs etc exist as part of the Dandenong Creek system and as such bird life is quite plentiful.
These walks are very popular particularly at weekends.

I love exploring these little parklands and bush places around Wantirna. My friend and I have a post graduate in Envio Science sio we are always looking at things a little differnetly. This remnant bushland has an abundance of flowers, trees, bushes, wildlife, birds and more.
This place is a nice respite from the regular day-to-day places you visit.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking.

Good arcade in knox been operating for many, many years, big buck hunting always fun, quality of prizes you can get with your tickets have unfortunately dropped over the years, however most convenient is the 100% electronic ticketing system/game cards - much more efficient and handy than carrying around bags of paper tickets
