Not sure what it is that makes humans being enchanted by waterfalls.... sure these do work the magic. Nice hike, make sure to take the path higher up.

Compact ski resort (~ 20 runs), mostly intermediate with 2 (or so) easy ones and 2 black ones (one very nice, the other spectacular). Excellent with kids (see my review on the local ski school (Martina Loch). Ski pass prices are very reasonable (37€ for an adulte for a single day), parking for skiers is free. We had the chance of one day with 15 cm (6 in) of fresh powder - awesome. We stayed in Schliersee (@ Karma Bavaria), 15 minutes away. We'll be back.

We go up here every time we come to Schliersee, and came up again this time in August It is a short gondola / cable car ride up to the top ( or you can walk) Hotel, restaurants and cafe all at top with lots of outside sitting area's to take in the AMAZING views For 5 euors – a single trip or 8 eruos return it is well worth it - you are hit straight away with the stunning views
