It is located on the north western side of the India, where it comprises most of the wide and inhospitable Thar Desert (also known as the "Rajasthan Desert" and "Great Indian Desert") and shares a border with the Pakistani provinces of Punjab to the northwest and Sindh to the west, along the Sutlej-Indus river valley. Elsewhere it is bordered by five other Indian states: Punjab to the north; Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to the northeast; Madhya Pradesh to the southeast; and Gujarat to the southwest.

its one of the biggest tourist destination in the jodhpur city also the biggest fort in rajasthan after the jaipur amer fort Like any other forts this fort is also quite huge & massive You will get elephant & other animal ride to roam inside the fort you also have an eating joint inside the fort which serves decent snacks & refreshments. the view from the fort is quite beautiful & impressive You can experience the so called blue city of india which is mind blowing Overall its not take you more than 3-4 hrs to complete the entire fort Also they have some adventure stuff to do inside the fort

The Golden jaisalmer fort is one of the prime most attraction and a symbol of Royal Rajasthan.. A fort..with yellow sandstone wall surrounded fortress..the maximum part inside fort is is house..people resides for generations..many turned into staying options..with shop n restaurants in many.. The main tourist attraction is jain temples..3 cannons ..with city view point and obviously the main building- The Fort Palace Museum or Raja ka mahal..the preferable Audio guided tour makes a good trip with rich history n exhibits and sandstone crafting masterpiece architecture inside the palace.. The shop inside the fort is for good buy of Rajasthani crafts n mementoes.. with good food of different taste available.. A sunset n sunrise time at Cannon point is a must do.. Make planmess trails of the lanes..explore the haveli like houses..feel the pulse of the life inside the fort..have a full day time to explore it..to feel the real hues of the fort.. It gonna be a lifetime experience indeed...

I was on for Jag Mandir in Pichola and was thinking that wasen’t I impressed a little more last time when one of my local Freinds took me for a Formidable Experience of this place... But I was wrong! As the steamer goes on away from the banks of City Palace splitting the clean blue Pichola water You are suddenly in a different place on Earth!... Wonderful , Serene, Exquisite!... The Jag Mandir/ The view of Lake Palace/ The view of City Palace!... Wow!... A truely International Spot to Discover and one of the Best in India!...In winters go by the 5 PM Ferry and Comeback when It is somewhat dark!...Exceptional!
