Kearney Historical Village

This is one of my most favourite places in Northern Ireland. The village itself is an absolute joy to walk through. Its possible to walk from the village along the coast to Knockinelder Bay. Strong shoes advised. If the tide is right, seals can be seen sunbathing on rocks. The beach is a sandy, semicircular bay which is great to swim in. Great rock pools to have a hoke about in. Definitely worth a visit

Silverbay Caravan Park

Reviewed By jasminepea

We Started caravaning last year in our caravan Dolly and came across this wee gem of a site. It's now our all time favourite site. Silvebay is so relaxing and peaceful and you feel so rejuvenated after a stay here. Its a wee oasis tranquility. We love to sit and watch the tide come in and the sun set and sunrise over the bay. The owners are lovely and site Warden is so friendly and helpful and attentive. The site is great for couples and families alike and has a clubhouse and golf course on site and play park for kids. Although the toilet block is a small walk away from touring park it's never been an issue for us we prefer it being away a bit. We would highly recommend this site. Writing this review just as we are leaving but will be back in two weeks and are counting down the days.
