Delicious fresh fish!! and loads of veggies. Plus they have beautiful flowers. Be aware, not all the prices are the same. Shop a bit before you buy!

Stone Ridge is one of the better malls in the San Francisco Bay area. Its size is convenient, and parking is usually easy. I recommend parking outside of Sears. There is no food court.

I enjoy coming here because I am a Regal Club Member even though I drive from Fremont. Love those rewards. Parking is always a pain because of the mall and numerous restaurants, but it is a one stop shop for date night.

We like this popular Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park. Its a good place for hiking. It is hill country so once one gets to the ridge, one is awarded with very pretty vista views of the Livermore Valley. It is a 5271 acre park so enough places to explore.
Its also a multi-use area so equestrians, hikers, and others can enjoy it.
On the week-ends its very popular.
There is a large parking lot.

This off-the-beaten path winery is worth a trip for the scenery of back-road California. They make about any kind of port you can imagine and seem to enjoy encouraging visitors to enjoy the "fruits of their labors". Leave with great souvenirs-- not that expensive, easy to tuck into suitcases, and great gift options.

Nestled in the hills of Sunol, surrounded by vineyards and gardens, is Elliston Vineyards. Built in 1890, Elliston was originally the summer home for Captain Henry Ellis, the Chief of Police in San Francisco. They began planting vineyards, and started to make their own wine. After changing owners throughout the years, the Elliston Estate was finally purchased by Ramon and Amy Awtrey in 1969. Professors and antique collectors, they carefully restored Elliston with period pieces, and refurbished the mansion to it’s original glory. The Awtrey’s lived in the Elliston Mansion, and in 1982, they began hosting special events and weddings at Elliston. Today Elliston Vineyards is a thriving winery and event space. The Awtrey’s daughter Donna now runs the business with the help of her sons, Mark and David. The original carriage house now serves as an elegant room for weddings and special events. The Elliston Mansion and property is open to visitors and wine tasting on the weekends.
We enjoyed our wine tasting at Elliston Vineyards. Elliston Vineyards is in a historic home which is a national landmark. The home was established in 1890 by pioneer Henry Ellis. There are pretty gardens surrounding the home. It is a popular place for events and wedding; while we were there they were preparing for a late afternoon wedding and dinner reception.
We tasted both their wine and red wines. We purchased a bottle of their NV Captain’s Blend. It is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and cab franc.
Staff was very nice and was very helpful in answering our questions we had.

I love taking the kids to Earl Anthony's. They have plenty of lanes, always offer the bumpers and the roller (thing that makes it easier for smaller children to roll the ball down the lane). The food choices are pretty standard, but it is nice that you don't have to stand by the counter to wait for your nachos to be ready - they announce it over the loud speaker.
Small arcade for the non-bowlers in your group as well.

We purchased the annual membership after seeing how much our toddler enjoyed the ride. We plan to go there on as many Sundays as possible. The ride is peaceful, since kiddo is mesmerized by the movement, whistles, bells and the views. The crew on board is very friendly.
We try to get there early enough so that we can go on more than one round trips. Pack a picnic get off at Fremont to enjoy at the park nearby and then hop on the last ride back...a sunday well spent!
