Hap's Original Steaks & Seafood

I have visited this restaurant 3 times over the past several years. Each time thinking my visit will be better. All I can say is; at least they are consistent.

When we arrived for our reservation, there was a great open table by the front window. We asked to be seated there. We were told that particular server was overloaded and put across the restaurant. Seems to me, that they could have just assigned another sever to our table. I mean jeeze, the restaurant is just not that big.

Since the meals are priced $$$$ I expect my meal should be perfect. Our baked pototoes arrived cold. (my butter would not even melt) Plus, we have now nick-named sending your steak back 3 times as having your steak cooked "Haps Way" By the 3rd try my friends bone in Filet arrived looking like a fatty red under cooked mess.

With as many options that exist in downtown Pleasanton, and for a lot less $, I would strongly suggest Haps step up their game. I do not reccomend this restaurant as it stands today.

5 of us went to Delatorre's after a meeting...and had a delicious lunch.
We all ordered something different.
Sea Bass and pasta
pasta and clams
chicken
minestrone soup
and Bay Shrimp salad
They brought herb bread, brown bread and breadsticks...butter and oil and balsamic vinegar.
Every dish was delicious...EVERY SINGLE ONE...not one complaint!
This was my first time eating at this restaurant, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Gay 90's Pizza Co

Pleasanton icon, been here as long as I can remember. When you think about the number of restaurants, that have come and gone, that's a pretty good validation, that they're doing something right.

I like bellying up to the bar, for a cold one with a friend. Never had a complaint, regarding the food, love the garlic bread.

Another nice touch, the pictures of old Pleasanton, very interesting. P-town, has become, so touristy, that it's nice to see it when the primary crop was hops.

The crust is thicker on the outer side of the pizza, and more cheese, but will accommodate you, if you throw yourself down on the floor and throw a temper tantrum. I don't know really, but let me know if that worked for you.

Right on the main street, where most people go for a stroll, so pop in for a peek, you may be pleasantly surprised.

btw - Gay Nineties . . . that's the 1890s, just a heads up.

There were so many choices for lunch on Main Street we read reviews and then walked along the street to decide where to have lunch. We are so glad we felt great vibes at Lokanta. We were fortunate to be welcomed by the knowledgeable manager Dogan Ozdogan. We had a great discussion about the Ottoman roots of most Mediterranean cuisine. More commonly referred to as Greek, Lebanese, Turkish but all derivatives from the great Ottoman Chefs for whom creating mouth watering recipes was an art. Lokanta has taken the best from the region and presents it in the most amicable setting. We created our own mezzos by sharing a number of their great offerings. If your not totally familiar with the traditions ask Dogan to suggest your fare. You will leave totally happy. I lived with n the Middle East for 16 years and have xperienced all michelin 3 stars in Europe. Believe me if your in Pleasanton don,t miss Lokanta.

Let’s face it. Dining is expensive these days. One would expect however to get something for your money. Nonni’s just doesn’t deliver. The food was okay but nothing special. Certainly not worth the hefty price tag. The service was good. The atmosphere is so unspecial. Why did I bother eating there. I felt fleeced of my money. And what happened to 15% tips. Doesn’t exist in Nonni’s world. Won’t be going back.

It is maybe 1 mile from the freeway, but no turns; easy to find, EZ to get to and easy parking.

Service is 5 star; food, 3.5. "Doug's Omelette" was VERY good. It comes with your choice of hash browns or ranch potatoes. I asked our waitress which she likes better and she said "I love the hash browns," so that is what I ordered. Ha ha. They obviously are store bought frozen hash browns. Oh well.

Hubby enjoyed his french toast and very much appreciated having the option of only 4 slices, although 6 is also an option.

We would've given this restaurant a 5 except the inside tables didn't have tablecloths.
Supper for 5 and all were satisfied with our meals, Fresh and delicious.
Our server was friendly and did a great job.
Only problem was the tables are too close together and it was difficult to get in and out of our chairs.
