500 years of German country side living on display. With 2 windmills grinding flour on weekends where you can see the process while the mills are running. A nice day in a huge area. Restaurants/cafes with reasonnable prices for relaxation and a bite to eat. Or go to the old bakery and by some cookies or go to the grocery store and by oldstyle candy. Definitely worth a visit.

The museum is well set out with the displays. There is a large collection of items and is definitely worth visiting. We travelled to Paderborn only to visit this museum. We stayed a 20 minute walk from the museum, an easy walk or you can catch a bus.

it a lovely place p visit and enjoy the peace and quiet. The old building is under going repairs and the new car park is large, so one caN PARK NEXT TO THE DOM AND WALK ROUND IT AND DOM TOWN CENTRE

It was a huge place. There is lots of kind animals in there. But we visited on February and we couldn’t see too much animals because of the weather I think. It is good for jogging anyway.

Impressively well kept park. Interesting and unusual salt water walls! Pleasant to sit and relax. All ages there, which was a bit of a surprise.
