Palm Springs Golf & Beach Resort

We play here about once a month and it's usually pretty good. The courses are good value for money when compared to Singapore although the course conditions could always use some improvement. Sunday afternoon the green fee is lower than the rest of the weekend and includes ferry, caddy, lunch and water.

Tspa

Tspa remains true to its original concept drawing inspiration from healing and beauty practices found across Indonesia using only local natural ingredients such as fresh fruits, herbs, oils and spices in its treatments. Sooth and relax on your own or in company of your loved ones in a beach gazebo or in one of the multi-purpose private treatment rooms.

The Tspa ambience is good and the tea is delicious. The massages are relaxing even when they are deep tissue. I opted for the Luxury Bliss package and was extremely pleased. The spa manager Komang does a great job of explaining and making appropriate suggestions, he clearly understands service, cares about the health of his clients, and perpetuates well-being. My therapist Rosita was exceptional and I can only highly recommend her. We are back this Fri at Turi beach for another weekend getaway and hope I will be able to make an appointment with Rosita again.

Cabana Club

Engage in exhilarating water sports such as wake-boarding, windsurfing, jet skiing and para-sailing or if you prefer, try rock wall climbing, paintball, tennis, golf and more. For more on water sports and land activities, approach the Front Desk or the Cabana Club by the beach for more information.

We were staying at Turi Beach Resort and inquired about the activities which lead us to Cabana Club. It's located between the two pools on the beach side. The attendant at the booking was very helpful and gave us proper information. Post that we headed for our rides - Knee Boarding, Para sailing and Jet Ski. The staff ensured our safety harness was in place along with the life jackets. They emphasised on the fact that we shouldn't panic when we are in deep waters. Very well managed. Will definitely visit again for more rides and fun.

Tamarin Santana Golf Club

9 Hole Fun and Challenging Golf Course designed by Jack Nickalus. Located at Nongsa, Batam Island, surrounded by 4 stars Hotels and Marina

Reviewed By Edmund K - Singapore, Singapore

This is no integrated or well-equipped golf club. It is merely a patch of 9-hole greens that is situated behind Nongsa Point Marina, and next to Turi Beach. We came by because we saw this course on our way to Turi Beach. I would imagine the plan for this is to facilitate and provide for guests who stay at either one of the two hotels. I did not see any club house. The course was said to be designed by Jack Nicklaus, but the remaining 9-hole were not yet completed. It is sad to see a championship-standard course that does not appear imposing regardless of the description or illustrations about it. In the end we did not play. There are other golf clubs on Batam that are more "wholesome" and complete. We did not see any other folks on the teeing area or the fairway.
