What a wonderful place to visit in any season. Spent several hours here and never gets old. Lots of paths and lot of soft cream shops as well.

We visited the park on our drive from Hakodate to Lake Toya. Picturesque scenery with forests, lakes, bridges & Mount Komagatake. Not crowded. There are a number of easy walking trials, great for peaceful & relaxing strolls. The many bridges with steps may prove to be challenging for the elderly folks though. Worth a visit!
