This church is NOT a typical European Cathedral! Built in 1180 during the time of the Black Death, this was a wooden church built by a seafaring people. Inspite of its imposing exterior size it is incredibly small on the inside. Well worth the visit and stop at the museum too.

Very cute street with a few stores, a lovely cafe and they are all very charming. If you are lucky you can see people driving really fancy cars behind the hotel/bar (look like a car club of some sort). I’d also recommend walking towards the fjord along the river, the river bank is filled with flowers in summer it’s really beautiful. You can pass a waterfall as well.
