My adult daughter & I were in Jurien Bay for four days. In that time Kass managed take us to Stockmans Cave, the Pinnacles at sunset, taught us stand up paddle board, snorkeling & sightseeing of the area. Kass is friendly, knowledgeable & enthusiastic. She has access to locals that can fill you in on the local area and give an interesting history lesson of the Pinacles. We will be back

We had a great day out. Took off just before lunch started with pulling up some octopus pots, and fishing for herring both to use as bait. Stopped to check out the sea lions then off to catch some Dhufish, finished with pulling cray pots and trying for squid, however no luck with the squid due to the winds. Needless to say the 4 of us ( 2 adults & 2 nine year olds) had a fantastic afternoon.
Kane was great with giving us info and answering all our questions.
Would highly recommend!
The kids hopped off the boat saying they had a fantastic day!

Stayed here for one night, caretaker was a really nice guy who went the extra mile and found a really nice camping spot right next to the beach for me! There is a nice bbq area and dry toilets (a bit stinky).
Campsite is huge but the beach feels very spacious, there are sand dunes where you can go and watch sunset (or just coast and sea during a day - there is a lovely lookout).
There is a dirt road leading to the campsite, but it is OK to drive on, there was an honesty box located approx 1 km from the campsite which you can put your money in or you can just arrive at the campsite and pay the money to the caretaker. Price is 10 dollars per person (I was camping by myself and sleeping in my car so not sure what the price is for caravans etc)....

The business has been operating in the Jurien bay marine park for the last 25 years, previously operating out of Greenhead the tours are now operating from theJurien bay Marina to facilitate ease of access for passengers on a floating pontoon with wheelchair access and allowing for operations to alternate between 2 Islands nearby that are inhabited by the Ausralian Sea lions. Tours are generally between 2 to 3 hrs depending on which island we visit and sea conditions. Their are plenty of great photo opportunities with both the sea lions and abundant bird life
I took my 9 year old daughter out for a trip out to look at the sea lions and we truly had a great time together. The sea lions are surprisingly graceful and charismatic creatures with an almost 'puppy like' playfulness. Skipper Brendan was really...MoreThankyou Donovan, Yes I remember that day it was fantastic,so glad you both had a great experience with our cute little puppies.I hope to see you again one day soon. Jurien Bay is a small fishing hamlet half way between Perth, Western Australia and the northern port city of Geraldton. In a car it takes about 2 hours along Indian Ocean Drive which is a very scenic route. The road hugs coastal areas and other small ocean hamlets with beautiful ocean views on occasions. Wildflowers are everywhere amongst thick undulating low scrubland (when in season). The town has amenities for commercial and recreational fishing notably a boat harbour protected from winds & swell. Nearby along the beach is a new jetty for fishing. This area is a small boardwalk/childrens play aea. A nearby cafe provides convenient seafood and other snacks. The town is small but impressive. Accommodation is everywhere but in high demand mid summer and school holidays. The area is a coastal wonderland with plenty to do for a short holiday.

The Turquoise Coast Visitor Centre is located adjacent to the Shire of Dandaragan administration offices. The Shire of Dandaragan is the Pinnacle of the Turquoise Coast with the towns of Cervantes, Jurien Bay, Dandaragan and Badgingarra offering visitors a diverse holiday experience in the stunning natural surrounds of the region. Cervantes and Jurien Bay are easily reached on the coastal route of Indian Ocean Drive, north from Wanneroo Road in Perth. A scenic 200km drive takes you straight to the Cervantes turnoff or the town centre of Jurien Bay is just 22km further. Badgingarra and Dandaragan are both accessed via the inland Brand Highway area routes.
We found the visitor centre to be very helpful, providing info on the best spots to see in the area as well as where to camp and handy maps. The lady was very friendly and helpful. We noticed there was a library attached and saw...MoreThank you so much for your review Elise, we are very lucky to have a mix of different resources all within our shared building so travellers can access what they need all in one spot.
