A nice, modern park in an interesting setting. The park literally borders the runway of Osaka Airport, in Itami. We were there around midday on a weekday and there was a steady flow of planes coming and going.
This is a great park for aircraft enthusiasts and/or kids. There some nice viewing platforms, walking paths and playground areas.
There is a ￥５００ fee for parking and bring your own lunch, just drink vending machines at the park.

I have been here a number of times in different seasons. Peaceful place, and such a variety. There is also an interesting walk along a nearby waterway.

In the north east corner of the park is one of Itami's hidden gems - an insect museum with an enchanting butterfly house. A perfect place to while away an hour or so. Serene and enchanting.

So this is one of those generic multi level Japanese shopping malls with all the usual brands (Muji, Uniqlo, Jens etc...)
This place differs from all the others with the vast hoards of tiny tots zooming around - oblivious of all the adults strolling around and also deaf to their parents pleadings.
Quite funny...
Maybe there is something in the local water supply that encourages mass reproduction?

This Air front offers wonderful views of Itami Airport up close. One can enjoy the landing and take off of aircraft from the airport at a very close distance. The park and the view point are at a walking distance from the Itami Airport of about 20 minutes and is accessible from the JR Kita-Itami station as well.

Museum is the correct word, this place has barely changed since we first came here 26 years ago. The layout, the exhibits, the toilets - unchanged. But the butterflies are still gorgeous making the trip to this corner of Itami still worthwhile.

This review is for the restaurant only. Excellent dinner and drinks. The local beer is brewed, as one would expect, for the Japanese palate, and so the body was lighter than western beers of the same style. I was surprised to see by the wide array of Belgian beers. I recommend the unique taste of the Chojugura pizza, which is made with sake. The steamed mussels were an appropriate accompaniment to the Belgian beers. I did not try the sake due to an unfortunate incident with a bottle of soju the night before, but as the company that owns the restaurant has been brewing sake for 450 years I'm sure it is excellent.

駅からは少し遠いのでマイカーかバスで訪れるのが最適だと思います。
JR伊丹・阪急伊丹駅から市バスが運行しています。
当方は自転車で訪れました。
広い公園内は緑が多く上池と下池があり、下池のほとりには雰囲気ある鴻臚館と中国風の東屋がありました。
あとプールもあって子供達のはしゃぐ声が聞こえていました。

JR伊丹駅から徒歩10分くらいのところにある大きな神社です。1月の3連休に久しぶりに参拝しました。江戸時代の伊丹郷町の北端に鎮座しています。904年創建と言い伝えられている歴史ある神社です。主祭神は猪名野坐大神とのことです。境内に多くの末社があります。本殿の前に昨年の秋10月の台風21号で倒木した松の根幹が祀られていました。この松は、1908年に旧宮家の朝香宮様がお手植えあそばされた松の木とのことです。樹齢は110年を超えています。年輪を数えることができます。
