Sandy Beach

Reviewed By BasicsTouring - Jerusalem, Israel

Sandy Beach in Hudson is a hidden pearl for going to the beach with small children and for dog lovers. It turned out that there were plenty of families that not only brought their kids but also their dogs. It was amazing to see so many dogs and no fights between them (probably good Canadian education). The water was pleasant and the water is not to deep to fast, so small kids could enjoy. Pic nick tables, natural shade and rest rooms made the stay very pleasant with plenty of free parking, but no signs how to get there.. .

Brasserie Du Bois Blanc

Produce quality, authentic beer without compromise. Quaint cottage style taproom nestled on the main drive of charming Hudson Quebec. Come sip our ales while watching the strollers by on our gorgeous terrasse or hide away with us inside in a woodsy den.

This is a very cool place that is not the normal bar scene. It's a brew house with extremely knowledgeable and passionate owners and staff. All beers are brewed in house and are really good.
The decor is earthy, organic and non pretentious. You can sit inside or out and with either you will feel right at home.
One great feature about this place is you are welcome to bring a picnic or take away food. Sit back, enjoy your food and have a few pints.
Still not convinced? How about all the cars and board games you can grab from the house and play.
This is a great place to sit back and unwind.
I suggest this place if you are living or visiting Hudson.

The shop is a major source of income for the NOVA medical support organization, a not-fro-profit charity that provides essential medical and personal care for the residents of Hudson and St. Lazare. The donations of clothing and other products are very well priced, with the clothing seemingly to have been worn very little, if at all in some cases. Excellent choices for both women and men.
