Kirkwood National will make you use every club in the bag!! It’s a true Championship Style Golf Course...but has many tee boxes so it’s enjoyable for all skill levels. One of the best layouts with lots of elevation changes and for an incredible reasonable price to play. Very friendly staff as well.

Wall Doxey State Park

Rv’d in site 59. Made easy online reservation. Everything we needed- very peaceful. Trees and birds abound. We walked around the lake- about 2 mile walking path- a few people fishing and catching plenty. Seems like it was quite the park back in the day with old swim docks on the lake but maybe state funding is lacking? Plenty of sites for rv’s- all back in no full hookups but a dump station. All sites are concrete pads which is nice. Seems like a great place for kids to get outside and play! We will be back to stay again.

Ida B. Wells Museum

Reviewed By LauraExplora06 - Richmond, United States

My Dad and I went during our pilgrimage to Montgomery, AL. We saw the sign for the museum from the highway and decided to go on our way home. The executive director is knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, and made our time worth every second. The museum is need of more funds, but she is doing a lot with the limited resources and support she has. I tell everyone to go and learn more about Ida B. Wells, a gift to our nation and fight for freedom.
