This spring has been cold and we came early, so things were no where near their peak, however I am still stunned. Magnificent garden, exceptional exhibition houses, truly one of the worlds finest bulb Gardens.

Linnaeushof

Europe's biggest playground, Linnaeushof, has over 350 play structures and recreational attractions. Children can spend days here. Every year more than 300,000 visitors are drawn to the special play areas for toddlers, smaller and bigger children. There is wheelchair-accessible equipment as well, such as a merry-go-round, seesaw and sand play house. Linnaeushof is located in Bennebroek, a 15 minute drive from Haarlem. It is a paradise for every child.

Yes we're back again, we even went twice this week because it's a school holiday and the weather was so nice. Since it has been a while he made his own plan of what to do first. First day we started with the flintstonetrack followed by his favorite trafficpark where he loves to ride the bikes and do some fantasy roll play games as a fireman and a police officer And cooking us some dinner at the bennie burger place The next day we started by climbing to the island in the water on the rope paths, sliding through the snakeslide and climbing towards the big boat through another rope bridge. He loved it and we had a great time. At this park you are allowed to bring your own food and eat them at the picnic areas. There is also a restaurant were you can buy food, drinks and icecream at reasonable prices. If you have kids between 2-12 they'll love it.

Chronicling the Dutch reclamation of land from the sea, the museum features exhibits on the function of windmills, steam-driven pumps or "Cruquius," and modern technology.

This museum covers the history of land reclamation in the Netherlands from the earliest days. It has an easy to understand cartoon that explains it that can be played in several languages, as well as a scale model and lots of other exhibits. The centerpiece is the giant steam powered punp in which the museum is located. This museum was exactly what we were looking for when we started our search to explain polders!

The De Rustende Jager is a good hotel and well located, offering free overnight parking. We have use it many times.
There’s good shopping with all the usual shops you would want in case you forget to pack something.
There is a wide range of eating and drinking places, all centrally located.
Would certainly return

The guys here are great, friendly, and really helpful. My granddaughter had a fantastic time the guys adjusted the bike for her before we started and popped on a basket for her which she loved. They went through the route we could take even though they must have done this a million times they didn't mind and all with a smile. Fantastic service Thank you
