Top 10 Things to do in Goa, India

June 1, 2021 Randal Brittian

The sandy coast of Goa is perfect for reclining by the sea. Nestle into a cushioned chair at a beach shack and savor a curry while you sip a Kingfisher beer, watching the sun slip lazily below the horizon. In Old Goa, the beautiful Basilica of Bom Jesus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a fine example of baroque architecture. Visit during Christmastime to experience a fantastic religious and cultural mash-up of East and West.

Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception

Reviewed By kalindid_12 - Pune, India

One of the most noticeable churches in the heart of the city which can be seen from far and cannot go unnoticed. With its white washed walls and beautiful Portuguese architecture, it is one of must visit places while in Panjim. I was told by our taxi driver that many Bollywood films have been shot here. There are many steps to climb but not difficult to climb. From the top one gets a nice view of the city too. It is beautiful inside too! One can definitely spare 20-30 minutes to see this Church.

We all had a very pleasant and joyful day by playing almost 4 hours in the beach along with our kids. The whole day spent on this beach was a memorable one and we returned to our resort only in the night. We recommend every tourist who is visiting South Goa should not miss this heavenly place where All ages can completely be mesmerised.
