We love waterfalls; and, not just because they’re pretty! Over the years, we’ve been blessed to discover a number of very special, very hidden, and mostly unknown (except by locals) waterfalls. As we do so much hiking in our journeys through Costa Rica, we began hiking some of the trails that had been created for use by locals who were hunting (mostly) for agouti and peccary; two staples of the diet of the Costa Rican Jaguar. Via those hunting trails, we were able to discover many hidden waterfalls known only to local hunters and their families. In addition to discovering these hidden gems, we created new tourism jobs, increased environmental sustainability, and helped to educate the local communities around them. Our butterfly garden is the ideal place to visit with family and friends, to enjoy of our interactive display exhibit of live butterflies, in a welcoming harmonious atmosphere full with color, from the graceful fluttering of each our butterflies.
