This was a beautiful walk along a beautiful bit of the coastline. It is not an easy walk and there is a minimal amount of fencing so safety has to be a key personal responsibility, especially if you have younger children.
The lighthouse was just an ordinary lighthouse not apparently open to visitors. Nonetheless it was a worthwhile walk and recommended to others.

My wife, her brothers, and I went here on a road trip through northern Spain. It was definitely worth the stop. The views from the trail leading to the beach were incredible, but keep in mind this attraction is probably better for the views than it is for actual beach-going. The beach is fairly rocky, so do not go expecting smooth and comfortable sand. That said, this seemed to help keep it from being very crowded. When the tide is out there are some fun tidal pools to check out some sea life. If you park in the paid parking (I think it cost a couple euro) it is a decent hike down to the beach, and a fairly steep hike back up.

We visited here on the recommendation of a friend - I was surprised by how busy it was in comparison to other places we'd visited that morning on our drive along the coast-although they all seemed to be Spanish tourists and a couple of French. It does have a very Spanish feel and it certainly helps to speak Spanish. Try to get into the town by finding a windy path up and along and you will be rewarded with amazing views over the rooftops.

We were told by the managers of La Casona de la Paca that the Palace Selgas was open to the public and we should not miss it! Indeed! It is like a French chateau in little El Pito, incredible that this magnificent Palace is here, well maintained with all its art, furniture etc intact. Not to be missed if it is open, but you have to check as it is closed often.
