Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre

Expected to go and see a few animals spend 2hours max but was really surprised, you get food to feed animals for free, lovely little newborn chicks and lots of small animals to touch and feed, plus lots of outdoor animals, there was a pony that was standing free you could touch and spend time with,2 year old was best behaved she’s been in months!stopped half way through to go to the cafe and can honestly say it’s the tastiest and fresh lunch I’ve had on a day out somewhere, staff were all friendly, and the best bonus was a great park, ride on tractors for the little ones and indoor soft play all included in the the price, would definitely return again when weather gets better, great day better than any animal park we’ve been to before

Deil's Cauldron

This is one of the nicest waterfalls I have been to in scotland. So peaceful, although the stairs were very steep, so take care. The country walk through the forest was so peaceful & stunning views especially in the autumn.

Glen Lednock Circular Walk

Reviewed By TheNursesCottage - Comrie, United Kingdom

The walk starts from various places, one of which is really close to the front door of our cottage - The Nurse’s Cottage so we tend to do the walk often. Paths are good, few steep bits in places, but lots of seats to take a rest if you need to. Most of the walk is normally sheep free if you have dogs, but couple of fields to watch out for. Stunning views for the entire walk.

Melville Monument

Reviewed By robertsQ8280RT

It is quite a strenuous walk up to the monument from the Deil’s Cauldron across the road but it is well worth the walk. The views across Strathearn in both directions are simply stunning. Heading off the summit northwards gives a much gentler ascent and a circular return back to Comrie.

Cultybraggan Camp

Reviewed By jilld68 - Porirua, New Zealand

Had a day to explore the area and saw the sign for this camp. Well what a fascinating place. Such history. The information boards are good and we were pleased the local businesses are able to use some of the huts. The community garden is worth wandering through. We enjoyed talking to the volunteer at the registration desk, lots of good insights into this historical site.
