Very spectacular drive. Magnificent scenery! Had heard it was good but was better than anticipated. Take notice of advice given for vehicle size. Came close to here 2 years ago in a motorhome and advised not to use the pass and now can totally understand why. Be careful of 1 lane only near the summit. Don't miss it if your are in Kerry.

Reviewed By BettyKate - London, United Kingdom

This was my first ever experience of windsurfing, something I had always wanted to learn.
I had the first session on a rather windy and rainy day, the second planned session had to be aborted due to the powerful winds. My second and third sessions took place on a fabulously sunny and warm day. All sessions took place at Scraggane Bay (Maharees, Co Kerry, Ireland)
The team at Jamie Knox's were amazing, I felt looked after from start to finish, great instruction and support when I did not understand or needed further explanation. Safety comes always comes first, and I loved now much time Helena (my wonderful instructor) spent on the foundations and the turns. No question felt was too much or stupid, and I loved the Helena happily kept going over manoeuvres that I found difficult to remember.
This left me feeling that I was secure on the board and able to actually windsurf (beginning to anyway)!
It made the two days great fun and I certainly will never forget this experience.
Thank you :-)
I will definitely be back as soon as I can free up my work schedule!
