Wow, this massive garden park has so much you could come back a dozen times and still not see everything. Extraordinary displays of WA's famous wild flowers, tree scapes, lawn gardens, fountains, magnificent views of Perth and the waterways, cafes & recreational areas for families & children, historic sites and the magnificent State war memorial. Serviced with easy access roads, pathways suitable for all, free bus service to and from the park, cafes, tourist information, top quality gift shop and toilet facilities. at present to visit you have to book times and locations , you wish to visit, 1 hour spent at Anzac Hall where there are 3 small video presentations which are highly informative as well as the displays , the galleries and commemorative area you are able to view for two hour periods and also access to gift shop , and you can also book for the last post ceremony which is always poignant , there is no cost to visit or for booking and you can still make donations electronically at the entrance to gallery area . cafe inside Anzac hall is closed at present , poppies which is located outside near underground car park is still operating

We had a small group of US based travel agents in Brisbane for a limited time and the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was the perfect spot for them to get their koala cuddle fix! It is a comfortable walk through the grounds and there is a complete range of iconic Australian wildlife. We stopped in for lunch and had time to feed kangaroos, cuddle koalas and get great photos, see wombat, dingo, cassowary, kookaburras and cockatoos, just to mention a few. Then we took the Mirimar cruising the Brisbane river back to South Bank. Its the only way to go!

We have been travelling around in Australia for 9 weeks with friends from Austria and Switzerland. Today we visited the Sydney Opera House at 11:15am. The guides name was Bella. Lovely energetic young lady! It was the BEST, and only tour in the entire of Australia that my friends understood every word of the places she took us to today. Wonderful and very articulate when she speaks. Clear concise and entertaining. It was exactly one hour tour with fantastic stories, great photo opportunities, brilliant setup of lights for the illusionist and the “bumping out” and maintenance of the Joan Sutherland Theatre! Finally tour concluding with a happy ending in the Utzon Room. The building truly is remarkable inside and out with fantastic people working. Must see for all. We are glad we did this and took our friends here today! Do the tour!

What a beautiful day trip this is. Beautiful views looking across the gold coast from the top of Tambourine Mountain where hang gliders take off from, plenty of sights for all the family to see as well as wineries and liqueur tastings.

It is, of course, my opinion that the ACM is the best, as we have been going there each week for 30 years. There is a wide variety of fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, small goods, great pasta, breads, fabulous cheese, vegan and vegetarian foods, herbs and spices, great coffee and snacks. Lucia's cafe serves coffee and cakes but specialises in big breakfasts and Italian food for lunches The market backs onto China Town with its specialty shops and eateries. Regular market tours are available by contacting the administration, there tours are conducted by expert guides and allow tastings of produce. Overseas visitors should put it on their agenda. A visit to the market is no cost unless you wish to buy some of the goodies.

The drive to the top of Mt Wellington (Kunanyi) is scary in parts as the road meanders up the mountainside. Drive carefully and beware oncoming traffic. The view at the top is well worth the nerves on the way up. The views from the top of the mountain were spectacular. Be warned that at this elevation of 1,271 m (4,170 ft) above sea level, the temperature dropped from 20c in Hobart to 5c on the mountain with a wind chill of -1c, bring warm clothes and a camera! The viewing platform over Hobart is fantastic and if it is too cold, you can enter the glassed viewing platform. In the colder months check of the road is open in case of snowfall or during periods of very heavy rain.

Absolutely fabulous definitely recommend if you are holidaying in Cairns and near the Esplanade you’ve got to swim in the lagoon at least once a day to cool off. The people of Cairns are very lucky to have this lagoon here.

Visited this as part of tour very well cared for by volunteers we'll set out easy to get to the tour guide gave us a talk on the gardens history @ about the various tropical plants very worth while visiting this attraction allow about 1hr to see without hurrying you will enjoy
