If you plan to stay a few days in Casma, it is a good idea to visit this place. It has a site museum and the tour is quite short; but the engravings on the stones are amazing.

The glacier is pretty majestic, walking is about an hour to the site, really good acclamitzation trip before any long hikes. Make sure you bring lots of water and coca leave teas to prevent headaches from altitude sickness!
