This was my second visit to the Grand Mosque in Bahrain. The volunteers made me feel welcome during both visits. They are extremely knowledgeable and able to discuss how the Quran relates to everyday life. We also had discussions of the teachings from the Quran and the Bible. It was very interesting to learn about the Arabic culture.

In the heart of the opulent Amwaj island, the Lagoon Park is an exciting and wonderful area that is basically a lake surrounded by cafés, restaurants, shops and bazaars. Very easy going and relaxed atmosphere and the ambience is happy, fun and festive.
A great way to spend a few hours.

Visited the house during late evening and the police man guarding the entrance was courteous. The nearby shop gladly offered the required change for the ticket against ice-cream cones. Night lights often transform a location drastically and this house was no different. Open centre courtyard with its pebbles offered a serene view of the night sky with its faint stars and the moon. Most striking feature of the building was its ancient wind tower. Even during the warm summer night, cool breeze was felt under the tower. None of the room displayed any furniture and the walls were mostly bare. A guide or a recorded message could have been useful as would have been a booklet with relevant information about the house.

Quite well maintained historical fort. Don’t forget to visit the museum next to it. It is going to provide so many information about the history of the fort and also findings. There is no proper direction signs and explanations about the places. Make sure not to miss any part.

Positives: Wide. Green areas. Sea view. Variety of restaurants and cafeterias. Bicycles for rental. Free Kids outdoor mobile games. Areas of improvement: Very limited no. and sites of toilets and bad constructions and Cleanliness. Setting on beach are not well. Limited car parking

It's a small but well arranged archeological museum. Exhibit is not massive, augmented with many photos Unluckily to me, one section "grave" was being closed, but Dilmun and other historical sections were open. Instead of joining a tour (as I couldn't find a convenient one) I took cab/uber and strolled as I like. There is a nice cafe inside with free WiFi. I took archeological tour the day before. Maybe the reverse order may work better. Museum first and see the barbar temple etc. if you have enough time.

Place is great and worth the visit as has many unique birds that have never seen in other zoos... One of the white parrots surprised us saying "Hello & Bye bye" as we left him. Some big parrots were surprising to see in close.

Mini-restaurant inside the park.
Indoor temperature.
Areas of improvement:
Difficult to get there (difficult accessibility).
Too much overpriced.
Opportunistic for every thing to get over money ( selling clothes with triple prices which poor quality, parents must even they will not play same price, one time go in and go out and if you want to go in again you have you to pay again, clothes back box overpriced, some locker rooms facilities...etc).
Very poorly non-collaborative staff especially in the activities places.
Some activities are dangerous with non-safety preparation especially head trauma.
Incorporated toilets with locker dressing rooms, which makes it dirty.

The mall is almost empty, very few dhops are opened, no veriaty of goods and services.
There is a lettel amusment activity indoor where kids can play but generaly it is not faborite for kids older than 7 years old. Food court is pethatic, repetative cuisen of fast junk food, no healthy or organic food is abalable.
