Time for some refurbishment: like all Mega Malls in Russia, it needs a radical renovation after about 12 years since opening.
The whole concept is outdated, but fortunately for IKEA (owner ) local people have limited knowledge of market trends.
Mega Mall is just a large, boring mall with cheap stores, but is conveniently located and features large parking, and entertainment for kids and adults. Still very boring, though!

While I wouldn't travel to Rostov just to see it; if you're already going, it's worth taking a look as it is the only city in all of Russia with this particular type of mosaic art. It depicts typical soviet scenes of education and lifestyle and also scenes from World War II. You can find this art in a number of underpasses along the main street: Bolshaya Sadovaya Ulitsa.

To see this Church you should visit Starocherkaskaia. Rarely one can meet suck an ancient, beatiful Church with interesting history. Pay attention to the altar. Rare to find altar with so many tires. Look at all the ikons. There many ancient.The church has an interesting historical exhibition of local Ortodox comunity.Also in the basement you can find an exhibition and souvenir shop og porcelain.

Small collection of scrap metal. It looks like that somebody decided to turn the dump into a museum. All the exhibits are in bad quality, the paint is peeling, the wheel were blown away long time ago. It is obvious that nobody is working on to improve the quality and good looking of exhibits. "Historic" title of museum is exaggeration - 80% of the exhibits represents a Soviet era. By the way - here is problem about toilet.

The nicest street, excellent botanical work - all season flowering trees, except deep winter. Nice pedestrial zone. The rich and businesslike rostovites lives here next door to regional establishment.

Почтовая станция XIX века. В те времена почта была не просто средством связи, на таких станциях останавливались отдохнуть, поменять лошадей. На этой станции когда-то останавливался Александр Сергеевич Пушкин. Музей имеет интересную экспозицию. Стоимость посещения копеечная. Но вот с музейным обслуживанием нам не повезло, не было никакой экскурсии, до смотрительницы еле достучались, а дело было в воскресенье, день очень даже музейный. Все равно было интересно. Рекомендую. Ориентир - мемориал с грузовиком времен второй мировой.

New and modern Aqua Park, has all imaginable entertainments with swimming pools, waves imitations, facilities for children and adults, different saunas and spa, open air facilities as well! All the family we loved it!!!

Были на опере "Юнона и Авось". Очень впечатлило, понравилось. Было много молодежи, зрители подпевали. Прекрасное устройство, бесплатная аренда бинокля. Все просто отлично!
