Cirali Beach

Reviewed By ordinarylife - Cambridge, United Kingdom

Beautiful, natural, clean beach.
Part protected during nesting season for Loggerhead Turtles.
Coarse sand and pebbles. Recommend swimming shoes for more comfort, but not essential. Swimming shoes available to purchase in the village.
Gentle slope from shore to deeper water.
Very long beach, so no crowding.
Sun loungers opposite beach cafes are free of charge, and each cafe will serve food and drink to you at your sun lounger, if desired.
Family and child-friendly with relaxed atmosphere.
Sea in September is silky warm, crystal clear, turquoise. No big waves, great for swimming and snorkeling.

Olympos Ruins

These ancient ruins, dating back to the second-century B.C., are all that remain of an important Lycian city that became abandoned in the 15th century.

Stay on the path and you'll take a fairly rough, but flat meander along a ruin flanked lane straight to the beach. Stray off it and you'll find yourself exploring ruins worthy of Indiana Jones, particularly if you head over the water. For the venturesome, there's some gems to be found, and some interesting wildlife to be spotted. Take water, insect repellent and a walking pole to make the most of it....

We were walking the Lycian Way and we were relieved to reach every evening’s stopping point but particularly so when we arrived in Adrasan. Our hotel was just opposite this beach. The Bay is lovely, fringed with Mountains (which we’d walked over or which we were heading for the next day).

Thanks to Captain Ramazan and his family. We had a fantastic time on board the Sudenur boat tour. The captains wife prepared us a great lunch which was delicious, the atmosphere was awesome. I recommend this boat tour to anyone who comes to Antalya. Captain Ramazan stops at the best places for a swim. Everything was just perfect.

Chimaera

A series of flames that spurt from cracks in the rock, which are caused by the combustion of natural gas seeping out of the mountain at the ancient site of Olympos.

Reviewed By Lukajoreb - Sutton Coldfield

This place is mildly interesting but I don’t really understand why everyone seemed so excited about it! There’s quite a pull to get up to the flames and when you do arrive....well, there are some flames coming out of the rocks. And then you go down again!
