The “Grant’Maison” of Jacques Cœur, financier to king Charles VII, was built in the mid-15th century and is one of the most beautiful examples of Gothic civic architecture in France. Bourges accueille également, tous les deux ans, les Rencontres nationales « chauves-souris » de la Société Française pour l’Étude et la Protection des Mammifères.
