Got a midday pass. Great hike options. Cliffs were very slippery with the intermittent rain and gave a few scary slides. View from the Cliffs of the unique lake water colors was amazing and worth the time

Even though the park is beautiful for hiking and sight seeing, my favourite spot remains the Observation Tower, high above the forest, rewarding those who climb all the way to its top with an incredible view of the point where Huron Lake meets Georgian Bay, way on the far horizon.

The Fathom Five Marine Park has amazing shipwrecks to visit. The move visited sweepsteaks is always a fun dive, especially with the City of Grand Rapids wreck a short distance off the bow. The visitors center has a small museum attached to it with some history of the marine park and I had the pleasure of walking through it last year. Unfortunately due to Covid it wasn't open this year. Highly recommend checking the welcome center our and supporting this treasure of a dive park

The last trip of fall for the MS Chi-Cheemaun ferry, which usually travels back and forth to South Bay Mouth, Manitoulin Island, is the Fall Colour trip from Tobermory to Owen Sound, where it is safely stored for the winter months. We took this trip, this fall. Getting up early, we hit the road around 7 am to arrive in Owen Sound for 9 am. Arriving close to 9, we were pleasantly surprised by the close parking availability, where we were to leave the car for the day, while we took a school bus from Owen Sound to the boat in Tobermory. Seemed like a nice day, but it changed once we hit the bay, Georgian Bay that is. The wind was up, the lake was roaring. Now I am not the most boat comfortable person, but I found the trip to be great, not to cold to be outside, and nice and warm, T-shirt warm in the boats lounges. For under $150. for 2, we enjoyed the trip, and the awesome buffet that was served in groups. They had a bar, with reasonable pricing, and an entertainer who kept us all entertained. They also have a spring trip. You have to register early to get tickets for this event, or you will be dis-appointed.

Flowerpot Island Lighthouse

Reviewed By punkbeech - Toronto, Canada

My wife and I went for a trip here in the summer and stop at one of the local restaurants for lunch and then off to flower pot island. Well worth the trip here! Flower pot island was really nice to see and hike. We only came up for the day and thought we might stay for the night if we liked it, but unfortunately this is a really busy place during the summer and everything was booked up. So we later decided to comeback with our son and his girlfriend at the end of month and spend the night. This is a cool little town to visit and take the boat tours and visit flower pot island. Absolutely beautiful clear water with great tours to go on. But don’t let the colour of the water fool you it’s extremely cold! Make sure you Book your tours and hotel in advance if your thinking of visiting here

The Grotto

The Grotto, in Bruce Peninsula National Park, is one of the top tourism attractions in Ontario. A shoreline sea cave with the beautiful blue waters, the Grotto is a unique natural wonder and memorable place to experience. It is also a very popular and busy location, especially during the peak season of July and August and on long weekends. At those times, the parking lot will fill up and you may not be able to access the Grotto.

Reviewed By Cade21 - Toronto, Canada

Nature at its best ! Go early (8am in Fall) as limited parking passes are given for access to the grotto and Indian Head Cove from 8-12; 12-4; 4-8 Going early also allows you to enjoy the place without the crowds. The Georgian Bay Hike is the easiest way to get there from the parking spot -take the trail on the left of the information boards Views at the Grotto and the Indian Head Cove are breathtaking. Proper footwear advisable as it is rocky terrain and can get slippery after a rain. We look the Horse Lake Trail back -this is a challenging Trail and so worth it for the views! It is well marked but make sure you understand what the symbols mean to avoid getting lost
