First paragliding club in Lebanon since 1990! More than 30 years of experience! Certified, licensed and Insured Pilots! We found and launched the paragliding site of Ghosta (3 min ride from Harissa) in mid 1990s. This site allowed us to paraglide next to the marvelous Virgin Mary statue. And to make the flight even more exciting, we found a landing site right in the center of Jounieh Bay, which is considered one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Consequently, passengers can enjoy a mesmerizing flight over the green mountains, authentic villages, modern/ancient cities, and the Mediterranean Sea! WARNING: Not all "pilots" who paraglide over Jounieh are affiliated to Club Thermique. Please ALWAYS ask the pilot for his certificate, insurance, & rescue parachute!

Started as a Travel Blog in 2015, Discovery Beyond Borders was first a source of information based on personal travel experiences. Its purpose was to promote responsible travel and inspire readers to off the beaten path destinations, while also encouraging middle eastern women to get out of their comfort zone, be stronger and become more self-reliant in traveling. Discovery Beyond Borders developed in 2017 to become a Responsible Tourism Tour Operator thriving to make positive impact on the visited destinations while providing authentic experience to the visitors. Aiming to propose alternatives from the most beaten itineraries to countries or locations away from mass tourism, or exposing the most common destinations with a different perspective. In addition, providing authentic experiences by engaging with the host communities in all their daily social, cultural and productive assets.

Atelier Assaf is an eco-tourism project that sits quietly in the fertile valley of Al Warhaniyeh, in Shouf Caza, and embodies the harmony between nature, culture and art. Surrounded by 10,000 sq meters of virgin nature, the project was initiated by three artists (the Assaf brothers) and is devoted to showcasing a private collection of cultural and environmental art. The Atelier contains a sculpture park and museum, a rural environmental house, and a small botanical garden. We offer guided tours, that can be customised to our guests’ visits, and that aim to: - Introduce the art and process of sculpting – starting with forming in Clay, casting in Resin and Bronze, then Stone carving; - Acquaint with our rural and environmental house and the process of building it using stone and other natural materials; - Familiarise with wild plants and trees - an initiative that is in collaboration with the AUB Nature Conservation Center. Atelier Assaf is now closed and will re-open April 2018.
