First found this enchanting shop last year when I was up in Scotland from Wales Lisa the owner was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She made the most beautiful lantern for my little granddaughters . Now it’s March 2020 and we have all been hit hard with this corona virus. ???? Unable to travel back up to this beautiful shop or more so unable to see my little granddaughters , I contacted Lisa to see if she could help me send some magic to cheer up both little ones Without hesitation Lisa was on the case along with her fairy ????????‍♀️ helpers . Two beautiful parcels where made up with a little message for each one . Parcels arrived today . They FaceTimed me as they opened them . The joy on their faces was magical . Even though the shop for now must stay closed. You can still order via website . Every one needs a little magic in their lives. More so at the moment . And Lisa has it in abundance ????????‍♀️????????‍♀️❤️ Grace Ps .. was only an option to award 5 stars but Lisa and Tinkerbell Emporium deserves much more x

Great fun - we escaped Castle Alba! Really impressed with the attention to detail and the variety of challenges. Easy to over-complicate things and miss clues literally under your nose but David was very helpful in getting us back on track. Highly recommended!

Travelling north and called into Doune for a coffee and a look around. Nice enough place, but pity that the current pandemic has closed the castle: would have liked to look around it. Strolled back into town and then found the wonderful shop 'The Desirable Curio'. What a lucky find. Full of interesting, collectable and good value items. Very well displayed. Tempted to buy a couple of items. Just couldn't resist, there is lots of choice and a good range of prices. Nothing is over-priced and there is no fussiness. Just lovely things to choose from. Proprietor friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes Vintage items and interesting curios. Wishing the shop every success when the Covid crisis is over.

Bannockburn House

Bannockburn House has survived largely unchanged since the 17th century apart from a Victorian extension. After over 50 years of dormancy the house and grounds were bought by the local community in December 2017. The house is being repaired and conserved for future generations to enjoy. Our volunteers run a programme of tours, open days and events. Keep an eye out for public tours and other events available for booking at http://bannockburnhouse.eventbrite.com/
