Top 10 Things to do Good for a Rainy Day in London, Canada

April 29, 2022 Giuseppe Pratt

You’ll see double-decker buses and even the River Thames, but while London, Ontario, has clearly been inspired by its British namesake, this is a distinctly Canadian destination. Attractions like Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Banting House and Eldon House will captivate history buffs. Or indulge your, shall we say, slightly less cerebral side with a tour of the Labatt Brewery.

First time ever trying this, our daughter wanted to try it. So while staying at the Best Western down the road I googled things to do. My husband and I took our daughter, shes 9. We did a family of 3 in the holodeck VR in the Temple of Diamond Skull. Talk about mind blown!!????it was so dang fun and amazing, we thought it was worth it. Would definitely recommend the Holodeck VR. The staff were great and absolutely nice and helpful. Most definitely will be coming back again. Booking a birthday party here would be awesome! Our daughter couldn't wait to come back, it honestly blew our minds. Like WOW!!???? Sooooo we ended up coming back the next day before we went home. Our daughter did the single chamber twice, once we watched her and the second time she did it while me and my husband did the Patient Zero zombie game, omg!!! That was pretty wicked. The staff were great with our daughter while we played and with us as well throughout the games. Our daughter also tried the rollercoaster game, she loved it. She said it gave her butterflies like a real ride ????. We plan on going back with my two nieces and daughter to finish the Second level of the adventure game like the Indiana Jones style. Sooo excited!!! Go check it out, its totally worth it. I think I could come back once a week or every other week to game it lol ????????????

we visited this house and what a surprise! I love history and this house delivers. furnitures, decor, kitchen, wallpaper, bedroom and the guides are very informative that even my son who hates sightseeing got interested with the house history and ask a lot of questions.... they have construction but you can still go inside the house. They also have high tea with staff dressed in old servants uniform... Highly recommend to visit and admission is donation to hep with the upkeep of this house.

I have posted earlier about what a treasure this place is. As of June 1 all vendors have been given the go ahead to come back. And the outdoor market is active yet again. I've been going every Saturday after the partial reopening. Really looking forward to when they're all back again.
