I suffer from frequent neck and shoulder pain, so regularly go for massages and have tried Thai, Chinese, Turkish massage in different countries. This was easily one of the best - equal to the "professional" sports therapist I see at home. I was fortunate that there was a slot available when I walked in as it was next door to my hotel. Laxmi was my masseuse. She knew the pressure points and managed to massage away most of my knots and kinks. Booked for a 60-minute session but ended up extending to 90 minutes. Highly recommended if you're in Kathmandu - excellent massage with the opportunity to contribute to a good cause.

We took our two daughters to this cooking class and it was wonderful to do as a family. We were warmly welcomed and our kids got stuck straight into momo making and making things with a pestle and mortar - they had so much fun, especially later on trying to make sel roti!! We were certainly not experts at this!! The food we made was delicious and we can't wait to try it again ourselves - a real lovely insight into Nepali life and food, Highly recommended and don't hesitate to take kids too!!

If you are looking for high quality & affordable cashmere sweaters or scarfs this is the place to be! I have been to the shop in 2018 (before hiking my way up to ME basecamp as I had a day or two to spare, I went shopping all over Kathmandu and ended up buying most things here). After coming back home (Netherlands, Europe) I regretted not buying more. Having more spare time (due to Covid19), I went to search online and found the shop I visited in 2018! At first I was a bit hesitant about ordering online and wiring money, but the shop owner Keshab assured me that it would be fine. Everything went super smooth, DHL delivery was amazingly fast (1 week, quicker than the postal service in my country nowadays in Corona times). The sweaters are of high quality. The one I bought in 2018 I wear endlessly in winter. This time I bought a few different colors and a scarf. On top of that I got a present scarf from the shop owner! I highly recommend this shop! Ps. Don’t forget to check your country’s import duties!

This cooking class was so good! We got to be the first class to do it at night; we went to the local market to buy our vegetables, and enjoyed a rickshaw ride to the school. The place was great for cooking and we learned so much about nepalese cooking and the delicious recipes. The women teaching us was so sweet and made us all laugh so many times, and learning from locals was unique. Thank you so much for this experience.
