Bundan otuziki yil once Bestepe'de simdi bulundugu yerde baslar Galeri Sanatyapim'in seruveni. O yillarda Baskent'te sadece bir kac galeri yasamini surdurmekte ve sergiler az sayida sanatseverle bulusabilmekteydi. Galeri Sanatyapim'in 1982 yilinda acilmasiyla birlikte Ankara'nin sanat yasami hareketlenmis ve Galeri'nin kurucusu, fotograf sanatcisi Ibrahim Demirel, bu girisimiyle, ozel galericiligin Baskent'teki onemli temsilcilerinden biri olmustur. Galeri Sanatyapim hicbir zaman sadece bir sergi mekani olmakla yetinmemis, yetiskinlere ve guzel sanatlara hazirlanan genclere oldugu kadar, cocuklara da resim egitimi veren bir sanat uretim merkezi olmustur. Galeri'nin kuruldugu ilk yildan beri usta sanatci Kayihan Keskinok, Galeri Sanatyapim bunyesinde yer alan Atolye'de ilkeli egitimiyle nice yetenekli ogrenci yetistirmekte ve sanati tutkuya donusturme azmini ogrencilerine asilamaya devam etmektedir. Cagdas bir sergi salonunu, zengin tablo koleksiyonunu ve etnografik, toprak alti zenginliklerinden olusan bir koleksiyonu 400 metrekarelik alana sigdiran Galeri Sanatyapim, kitap ya da katalog gibi kalici arsivler olusturmanin yani sira, her yil bir sanatcinin desenlerinden olusan Galeri Sanatyapim takviminin basim ve dagitimini da kendi olanaklariyla gerceklestirmektedir. Ticari kaygi tasimaksizin ozellikle genc sanatcilara destek olmaya calisan Galeri, saglikli bir resim piyasasinin olusmasina katkida bulunmak icin caba sarf etmektedir. Türkpusat Traditional Weapons Museum aims to introduce the traditional weaponry in order to keep the cultural heritage alive.In our museum, it is possible get information on the historical, philosophical and technical aspects of Turkish martial arts, especially on archery. Besides, the accumulation of knowledge of craft behind the martial tradition is presented in detail. In this museum, purposing to create an atmosphere where the visitors can feel and touch the history, different collections related to our history of war and sport are exhibited.
