Unhappy time
Reviewed By plandm412642The ceilings have black mould growing on them. The towels are thread bear and have holes. The tiling behind the sink is covered in tooth paste spatter. When the power goes out they have mounted a torch they forgot to charge in the 3 days I was there. They don't have a generator which I am sorry is essential in this time. You will sit in a cold dark room they won't even offer to boil you water to have a cup of tea. The bed and bedding is decent . The bath being in the bedroom is not nice if you have a child with you and it's definitely not nice when it's so cold and there is no door of a formal bathroom to keep some warmth in.

Surprised by the location and cleanliness of this low cost hotel
Reviewed By Richard HFound the hotel by driving past it in Marlboro it’s right next to the Gautrain station and on Marlboro drive near the N3. R350 per night for the room. Yes no food service offered, but you can’t ask for that at this price, there is a KFC right next door. Room is clean neat and tidy, has a small tv with enough stations to make anyone happy for an overnight stop. There is free WiFi which surprised me, and they have a small public space to make tea, get something to eat from a vending machine and chill, and there is guarded parking inside. Yes it’s 2 Star but the location quality and ease of use surpasses that. Well worth it for backpackers, travelers and businesspeople who want location and price. Give it a try.

Rooms & bathrooms were spotless with quality linen & toiletries. A good choice of breakfasts served in a modern kitchen dining room. Nice outdoor space & pool. Free WiFi is available.

Providing garden views, Berghaan B&B in Pretoria features exquisite accommodation, a private garden, and a patio with barbeque facilities. All three units, namely the King and Queen Suites, as well as the Prince Quarters, are equipped with high-speed WiFi and a desk and chair for work or study. The King and Queen Suites come with a seating area and kitchenette. All units have flat-screen TVs with some DSTV channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. There are microwaves and fridges in all units. Save and free parking is available on the premises. A freshly prepared breakfast is served daily when booked. All our happy clients' comment on the breakfast, the quietness of the area, and the convenient location in terms of access to all Universities, hospitals, etc.

Reviewed By Kholofelo MIt really felt like home! I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped into Berghaan. The staff was absolutely amazing. My favourite was the breakfast ? Great location, WiFi super fast. Super clean! I even had an electric blanket. I went there to get some space to study and it was a great environment to achieve that . Best value for money, highly recommended! Thank you so much ??

Reviewed By lenise2022Beautiful little hidden gem. Stunning product but lacking a boutique style service touch. Receptionist inneed of Guest service training. Additional care needed in preparation of food as I tried twice to get my steak well done and by the time my food returnmy partner was long done. A bit of a demper on a romantic night out. No turn down service during dinner time.

Reviewed By heath_VDElisabeth and her team are discreet & yet very welcoming. The guesthouse is really comfortable and gives a feel of home away from home. I would highly recommend Amberhall and I will definitely be back.
