Pollocks B&B is very convenient: close to facilities including shopping centres, restaurants, beach, hospital, etc. Also situated in a very quite, peaceful and safe environment; one i needed after a long academic day. I cant complete this review without mentioning that the owner Pollocks B&B (Dave Pollock), went an extra mile of helping me with a flat tire on my way to an exam that morning; and made a stressful morning so much easier. Very much thankful and grateful to the Pollocks for their kindness and generosity. Pollocks B&B isn’t just a B&B, but its a HOME♥️.

I had a wonderful (second) stay in this, very stylish, classy and guest-friendly B&B. Charlene and Greg are wonderful hosts. Charlene went to a lot of trouble in transporting me around to the venue where I was lecturiing, as well as to and from the airport. Much appreciated! The food is very tasty and very appetizingly presented. All amenities in the rooms are high quality and attest to their good taste. Security is very good and one feels safe all of the time. All-in-all a wonderful and very enjoyable stay! Gerhard

Had quite a pleasant last minute overnight stay at Amery House. The Host was very welcoming despite arriving there in the evening and the room was in spacious, inviting and neat. Will certain recommend!

Website is outdated. Photos are outdated. What you see is NOT what you get ? Furniture needs serious attention. View is nice. Overall a big dissapointment. No dstv as advertised. Cleaning ladies needs training. We had to clean our own braai as well on several days. Not suitable for a longer selfcatering period.

Villa Petit is a tranquil oasis, nestled among majestic milkwood trees and just a stones-throw from the beach. This classical Villa offers tastefully decorated en- suite rooms with elegant, spacious bathrooms. The rooms are equipped with flat-screen televisions and DSTV channels. You can enjoy a glass of wine under our milkwood trees, after a sun-drenched day at the beach.
We stumbled across this gorgeous French themed villa and were very pleased we had! We took 4 rooms, each styled differently (don’t take the ground floor double unless you & your partner are very intimate!). Leonie is the perfect host, suggesting where to have dinner & organising transportation, it feels so friendly, yet stylish! Breakfast is superb. This place is a real gem and does Jeffrey’s Bay proud!

Im not sure how this gets a 4 star from the SA tourism board - either it is very old or paid for. The front desk asked me to pay - having paid through expedia already. I paid for their most expensive room as I had to share the bed with a friend and we wanted a king. They put us in a small room. Fortunately I had the wearwithall to ask straight away. I paid £155 (R2750) for the room. As much as I pay for a great room at the Radisson Blu in Johannesburg. In this room there is no fridge, only one sachet of coffee and no milk, only creamer. There is no shampoo - when I asked they said the body was on the wall is for both. Any ladies out there will know you simply cannot use body wash for your hair. No conditioner. Now I know in cheaper hotels I wouldnt find these necessarily but given the remoteness of this town and the supposedly upmarket nature of this hotel I would expect a little more for my huge amount of money. The carpets are carpet tile and seen better days, not awful but not 5 star worthy. The decorating leaves alot to be desired with very outdated cupboards and hugely damged skirting and walls with terrible bodge jobs to fix it. I will say, at least the bedding is white and clean though the pillows are not very good, rather insipid items. I am very glad we are only here for one night. I hope the owner reads this and decided to redress some of the issues. The parking is great, I was hopeful, but reception area is not welcoming, in fact it feels like its in a cupboard. One plus, the aircon works.

Peppertree House offers both B&B and self-catering accommodation in a Victorian-style home, 5 comfortable self-catering units and group a 5 bedroom house. All of the rooms have fridge facilities, a television, a heater/fan, tea/coffee facilities, ironing facilities and other necessities. Parking is on-site behind a motor gate and there is a swimming pool for those hot summer days.
The host was really lovely, helped us with finding our room and everything. The place is big and really great for self catering. Kitchen has everything you need for a good meal. I’d come back here any day.

Sorita and Andrew are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay in Bietjie Rus an unforgettable one. The studio we had is comfortable with a kitchen, the beds were good, breakfast is great and the garden very peaceful. Sorita also gave us tips where to find the animals in Addo Park as she has worked there as a safari guide for 21 years. The entrance to the park is a 20min drive, by the way. We really loved our stay here in Bietjie Rus. Very much recommended!
