The Healing Room Dunfermline

The Healing Room is a complementary therapy business in Dunfermline. The therapies on offer are: massage; hypnotherapy; reiki; meditation; and life coaching. This is a relatively new business and is very well reviewed. The therapy room is welcoming, cosy, peaceful and quiet. The business owner and therapist has a reputation for putting clients and ease and making their visit relaxed and enjoyable. The main focus of published reviews is comment on the extremely high quality massage on offer. The massage is a full-body hot oil massage, which is normally one-hour long, but thirty minute and ninety minute massages are also popular. If a client books a one-hour massage appointment, then the massage lasts for sixty minutes - not forty-five minutes, which is the case in most salons. There are hot shower facilities available. There is only one therapist, therefore only one client at any one time, which means visitors have the full care and attention of the therapist.

Amazing massage, felt very comfortable with the current situation. Very professional and knowledgeable will definitely return. The added extra relaxation at the end was so lovely.

Fairmont Spa

Just enjoyed a fantastic Spa Day and Lunch at the Fairmont recently. Really good offer available through itison so myself and 3 friends treated ourselves. First time I had been to the spa itself, excellent facilities, spotlessly clean and such a great place to relax. I enjoyed a back massage, a head massage and a facial. The therapist (Hannah) was especially understanding when I explained that I didn't want any nut oils used on my as my partner suffers from severe anaphylaxis (basically a fatal nut allergy) and was very knowledgeable on the products that she did use on me, what they were and what they would do for me. Great at her job too, left feeling SO relaxed - all the other girls did too! So onto lunch in the kittocks bar. The sandwiches were lovely but the soup was a real stand out. We all had a great day, and can't wait to go back and do it all again, weather a voucher comes up or not - the service up there is easily worth the full asking price. I'd happily recommend it to anyone, weather you're looking for a relaxing day out with your girls, or it would be super as part of a hen weekend. I'm getting married in April, so hopefully my bridesmaids are getting ideas! Thanks again for a great day Fairmont St Andrews!
