First class service! Host, owner and chief cook and bottle washer, Claudio, speaks very good English and is super attentive. Presentation is superior and unexpected in this sleepy little town. Fantastic soup is on the menu. Hard to find in any Argentine restaurant. Unusual combinations of elements in sauces and all courses. Claudio's culinary creativity is so refreshing in a country where most choices on a menu are meat, pasta and not much else. His restaurant could easily thrive in New York with his mastery of fine dining in the relaxed, laid back atmosphere he has achieved in La Falda.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited ( certainly the best Italian one). Products are extremely high quality and you can definitely tell that dishes are prepared with love. Pay attention to Danielle’s (the owners) advice, he knows what he’s doing. We stayed there for around 3 hours trying many different delicacies suggested by Danielle. I’d recommend the mushroom ravioli with walnut sauce. Also the pesto lasagna was incredible. Finally, price-quality ratio is great. Food is really cheap for the quality.Thank you very much for your words. It is an honor to serve people like you. We hope you can come back soon. Best regardsMuchas gracias por tus palabras. Es un honor servir a personas como tú. Esperamos que puedas volver pronto. Atentamente

Good cuisine but overpriced bearing in mind it is a cash only operation. Wines are a little overpriced, especially those of nearby vineyards where the quality leaves a lot to be desired.Reservations essential as there are few tables inside. It is not as good as it was. It needs to reduce prices.

The service here was amazing...waitress knew every ingredient to every dish we asked about and was very attentive. They even served our imported beer in chilled glasses and gave us a white wine bucket of ice to keep the rest of it cold. The food is much more interesting than your average restaurant and you can tell the chef takes pride in his menu. We recommend this place as do others.

Gapasai Restaurant

If you are anywhere near this area then this restaurant is an absolute must. Hands down the best restaurant in Córdoba province, but for us it would be up there with the best that Argentina has to offer, and easily comparable with restaurants of its kind the world over although incredibly reasonably priced to reflect its location. The menu was creative and immaculately presented, with every dish full of flavour and thought. You can literally taste the passion that chef Santiago puts into each creation. The service was gracious and friendly, the location a real hidden gem, and we really felt like we were 'discovering' something truly special (although the restaurant has been open 9 years and we are kicking ourselves that we havn't been before!). We stayed in the posada attached to the restaurant which made for an overall outstanding and uniquely special experience. Do not miss out on this rare find if you are a foody! Thanks for your comment!! We are so happy to read your words!Hope to see you again in Gapasai!
