Cumbuco is a small fishing village situated about 25 kilometres (16 mi) North West from the city of Fortaleza, in the state of Ceara, along the north east coast of Brazil. The population is around 1600. The village is regarded as picturesque and scenic and is attracting both domestic and international tourism. Cumbuco has a beautiful and quiet beach near Fortaleza on one side of town and the famous sand dunes on the other side. There is a small and busy village centre built around the main square adjacent to the beach which has a fresh fish market, tropical palm trees, and several beach restaurants (barracas).

Nice beachfront property with pools, water park and restaurants. Tasty caipirinha with fresh fruits and juices plus nice lunch. Walking distance to the beach where kitesurfing is great. I come back. 5 Stars

Went here many night during our stay in Cumbuco. They have lots of great local food, especially fish dishes that all taste amazing and are fairly cheap. The vibe is very local, the staff donât really speak english but make a great effort to make themselves understandable so itâs not an issue. Best place in town by far!

Very nice looking restaurant. We sat upstairs on rooftop which benefitted from a lovely breeze. Service was friendly and food looked and tasted great. Fresh fish, nice salads and tender beef. Some of the plates to share were somewhat meagre, such as the red hot chilli peppers and the enchiladas. But the main dishes and salads were of good size and nicely dressed. Looked very attractive and did not disappoint in the flavour department. Thank you Mireille. We are very happy for your experience.Remember us when you return to Cumbuco.

Love this place, its just off the centre in Cumbuco, inside pousada 0031. They over a truly international menu with local dishes, Thai, Spanish, Peru, etc. lots of variation and always good quality. The biggest problem is to choose... :) Friendly owners and staff, great place to have dinner. There is also a cozy lounge area to have a drink or small bites. They serve lunch and dinner!!

Zie mijn titel. Uitstekend eten hoor, maar niet mijn soort restaurant. Te duur, te hip, te vol en heel onpersoonlijk. Als je goed wilt eten, een dikke portemonnee hebt en als een wandelende faktuur behandeld wilt worden dan is dit iets voor jou.
