Cumbuco is a small fishing village situated about 25 kilometres (16 mi) North West from the city of Fortaleza, in the state of Ceara, along the north east coast of Brazil. The population is around 1600. The village is regarded as picturesque and scenic and is attracting both domestic and international tourism. Cumbuco has a beautiful and quiet beach near Fortaleza on one side of town and the famous sand dunes on the other side. There is a small and busy village centre built around the main square adjacent to the beach which has a fresh fish market, tropical palm trees, and several beach restaurants (barracas).

Nice Brazilian restaurant, went with a group of friends. Waited a bit long for the main course, but the meat was delicious and cooked the way we ordered it. Recommendable!

Fantastic place, really friendly service. Korean buffet is amazing value for only 20 reales. They also brought us a complimentary plate of hot starters from the menu. The Korean beef, like little burgers, were crazy good. We ordered more. Recommended. Went here many night during our stay in Cumbuco. They have lots of great local food, especially fish dishes that all taste amazing and are fairly cheap. The vibe is very local, the staff donât really speak english but make a great effort to make themselves understandable so itâs not an issue. Best place in town by far!

This place is the best to lay down, relax and enjoy the kites flying on the sky. their puffs are so confy! No plastic chairs/tables!Service is kind of slow but who is in a hurry in a place like that? The day I spent there there were live music. They even have a store at the beach loung.

Very nice looking restaurant. We sat upstairs on rooftop which benefitted from a lovely breeze. Service was friendly and food looked and tasted great. Fresh fish, nice salads and tender beef. Some of the plates to share were somewhat meagre, such as the red hot chilli peppers and the enchiladas. But the main dishes and salads were of good size and nicely dressed. Looked very attractive and did not disappoint in the flavour department. Thank you Mireille. We are very happy for your experience.Remember us when you return to Cumbuco.

Love this place, its just off the centre in Cumbuco, inside pousada 0031. They over a truly international menu with local dishes, Thai, Spanish, Peru, etc. lots of variation and always good quality. The biggest problem is to choose... :) Friendly owners and staff, great place to have dinner. There is also a cozy lounge area to have a drink or small bites. They serve lunch and dinner!!
