We used Lysetur for a customer/teambuilding for a trip in Ryfylke. The boat was very nice and the driver had very good local knowledge which made the trip even more interesting. We really recommend a boat trip in Ryfylke with the boat from Lysetur :-),

Oslo's city-sightseeing, hop-on, hop-off bus offers 14 stops. The buses have audio-guides in eight languages. One person on the bus stated that theirs did not work but I was unable to determine if the problem was the person operating the audio-guide or the mechanics of the system. The buses also offer free Wi-Fi. You can purchase a 24 or 48 hour pass and a cancellation policy can be activated 24 hours before the buyers date of activation. The 14 stops include stops within the central city and some further out. If you were to ride the entire circuit without getting off it would take about 90 minutes. Waiting times for the next bus can be 5 minutes or 30 minutes. There are 5 buses and you have to change buses to reach all 14 stops. When you change buses the stop for you next bus can be hard to find and often a distance away. The Viking Ship Museum is one of those stops that is further out. There are 3 other museums within a 15 minute walk from the Viking museum including the Kon-Tiki museum. The $46.95 you pay for the bus does not include admission to the Royal Palace, museums or many other venues. If you only want to see the central city sights you probably will be able to walk or utilize an excellent public transport system. Getting to the more remote stops make the the hop-on and hop-off bus more desirable. In any event you are not going to be able to stop at every location and appreciate all it has to offer in a 24 hour pass. The hop-on and hop-off bus is only offered from May to September 30.

The trip should be able to cancel if heavy rain. It was so slippery on vet rocks - it was dangerous. After walking in 4 hours in heavy rain, I were wet and cold, and the café should have a fireplace to warm up beside, while waiting 1 hour for the bus to leave. The bus driver should put much heat on in the bus - after such a cold trip. We should also be able to put a bag with dry clothes in a locker in the mountain lodge, so that we could change to dry clothes after the trip.
9. An amazing guided private walking tour of Stavanger.
Famed for its many natural attractions and old wooden houses, the Stavanger is a must-see of nearly every visitor to Norway. Here, you can explore picturesque landmarks such as the Lysefjord, Sola beach, and the famous cliff Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock) which was once named the world’s most breathtaking viewing platform. Your guide will pick you up in your hotel or from your cruise ship. You will start the tour from the outside the Oil Museum – Norwegian Petroleum Museum and walk through “The colourful street”, climb “Valberget”, the old fire watchtower. Continue Kirkegata Street towards the Stavanger cathedral. Stop outside the cathedral to hear its history and continue past the old cathedral school and the small lake Breiavannet. You and your guide then walk up to Old Stavanger and through the streets to the new concert hall. Sverd i fjell is a must-see. In 872, a great battle was fought all around this area that caused Norway to be birthed. A place of real historical significance. If you are in Stavanger then you have to go and see the swords and learn about the historical significance of the monument. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel, cruise ship or another place you are staying in Stavanger. On the way to Ullandhaug Tower, you’ll stop at Hafrsfjord, where a historical battle was fought in the age of Vikings between 872 and 900. From Ullandhaug Tower, you will get a bird’s eye view over the city and Ryfylke Fjords. After that, you will stop at the Swords in Rock monument, where you will have time to take photos. After returning back to the city you will have a sightseeing tour of the old city – Gamle Stavanger.
