Went to the fairy pools without a guide and it was stunning. Weather wasn’t great but water was so clear and beautiful. Would have been a better experience on a warm day. Wear decent footwear as when raining it gets slippy

Ed was the perfect guide for a Girl's Day Trip. We had some extenuating circumstances on a previous tour earlier in the week that precluded us from completing it. We decided to try a private tour for the end of our trip and so glad we did. We had a few ideas of what we wanted to see and he was able to help us customize a day trip to see as many of those items as we could. He was a perfect tour guide and so patient and kind when we wanted to stop and look at various things and places (hairy cows and shopping!). We never felt rushed during our trip and he was also able to guide us through several castles so we go to see everything in our allotted time. Had we toured these places by ourselves I feel like we would have missed so much. We had a great time on our day trip and I would highly recommend Ed for a private tour of Scotland and the country side.

A friend and I took Dave's tour through the Scottish Highlands/Isle of Skye. It was a great way to make the most out of the limited time we had available. Dave is a great guy and tour guide and was able to fit in way more sights than I was on expecting. We learned a lot about history, culture and folklore as well. This tour is a top highlight of my time abroad and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Evelyn is an absolutely fantastic tour guide. She really knows her city well and brings the myths and legends to life with her amazing stories. The whole family enjoyed the afternoon (despite the rain, which didn't really matter) and in fact it was the highlight of our weekend in Edinburgh. An unforgettable experience with spectacular scenery. The tour drives through the Cairngorm and Trossachs national parks, and along the edge of Rannoch Moor, one of Europe’s last wildernesses. These are spectacular structures to go and visit. Take a walk around by the canal and see how impressive these sculptures are up close. There is free parking close by with short walk. Disabled parking is also available and closer to the shop and structures. The gift shop has reasonably priced souvenirs.
8. 3 Day Tour of Scotland Departing Edinburgh or Glasgow
On day 1 we will depart Edinburgh, taking in Stirling Castle, Doune Castle, Glen Coe, The Great Glen, Eilean Donan Castle, and onto Skye, for your 2 nights accommodation. Enjoyed an hour at Speyside. Knowledgable guide with a reasonable tasting ... wasn't my favorite whiskey but a nice experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful day last week (Oct 2020) exploring the Northern Highlands from Inverness with Craig. Prior to our visit, I communicated with Craig via email to plan our day. I had a few things in mind that I wanted to see, such as the Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns and Dunrobin Castle, but mostly explained that we wanted to get a sense of the history and culture and stop and take in the beautiful landscapes and take photos. Craig delivered all that and more, exceeding our expectations, with his knowledge of the area and his delightful stories. In addition to all of the above, Craig whisked us off to a surprise visit to fascinating Wardlaw Mausoleum to learn more about the Clan Fraser (Outlander fans will understand!), Beauty Priory, Shin Falls to see the salmon leaping (yes, we did get to see actual salmon!). We had another surprise at Dunrobin Castle with a Falconry demonstration, which normally would not be operating this time of year. Many stops along the way to see beautiful vistas, Loch Fleet World Heritage site where we had a good view of the seal colony, and Clootie Well. Craig was the ultimate host, picking us up and dropping us off at our Inverness hotel, driving us in comfort, complete with safety measures of hand sanitizer and masks, and more importantly a picnic hamper full of snacks. He was very responsive and communicative before and after our trip. I highly recommend Craig as your personal tour guide to the delightful Highlands.

Luke picked up myself and 2 friends on time in a clean lovely van stocked with delicious snacks (fresh fruit, chips, crackers, cookies) looking dapper with a fabulous red beard and traditional kilt! He knows how to read his audience, giving great information at the right moments, leaving the group to enjoy the scenery at our own pace, and joining in for a laugh. The opportunity to see unique smaller sites without the hassle of a bus and a big group is invaluable. The selection of stops and the absolutely fantastic setting for lunch at the Kingshouse Hotel were varied, classy, and gorgeous. This was the absolutely highlight of our overall wonderful jaunt to Scotland. Thank you Luke!!
