Top 10 Sightseeing Tours in Far Eastern District, Far Eastern District

August 22, 2021 Malia Yoakum

Far East Russia is a world apart from the country’s west – almost literally, lying thousands of miles and many time zones away from it. A huge area with rugged mountains and spectacular Pacific Ocean coastline, Far East Russia borders China and North Korea on its south and nearly touches the United States to the northeast. Cities like Vladivostok and Khabarovsk are here, but the glorious natural wonders (like the volcanoes and national parks of the Kamchatka Peninsula) are what draw many.

4. Amazing Kamchatka - Highlights of Geyser Valley Private Tour by Helicopter

U Visit Russia

If you are in Kamchatka for few days, wish to extend your Itinerary or have 1-2 days left before you head back home, make your journey complete by taking a helicopter tour to one or few top Kamchatka attractions. This phenomenon is as beautiful as rare. Big geysers are located only in Iceland, in the Yellowstone park of the USA and New Zealand. But there is hardly a place in the world where such a variety of magnificent gushing springs can be found in such a small area as the Valley of Geysers of Kamchatka. If Geysers of Kamchatka are on the list of your destinations, do not delay your visit. Geysers are a delicate formation and easily extinguished by either human intervention, earthquakes or flooding.

8. Kamchatka Private Boat Trip - Marine Wildlife and Bird Watching

U Visit Russia

Because of the high transportation cost and luck of roads, most tours in Kamchatka are designed for groups only. So, if you are traveling alone or a friend, there is a lot of "juggling" needs to be done before you book your trip. Most likely you will end up having few days open of flexible for making individual plans. Our main destination is The Starichkov Island, which is located just outside of Avacha Bay. The Island is a home to several nest sites of white-tailed eagles and numerous colonies of seafowl's accompanied by Largha Seals. On the way to/from the Island, there is a good chance we will see Common Dolphin, Killer Whale and sometimes Dall's Porpoise and Minke Whale. If interested, feel free to fish for flounder, mackerel, and ocean perch. For lunch, we will make a fish soup on the camp fire and closer to the evening return to Petropavlovsk. • Guaranteed skip-the-line entrance

Inclusions: Transfers to the pier, Motorboat with captain, National Park fees, Guaranteed skip-the-line entrance

Exclusions: Personal expenses
