On a tour with a large group, this site did not disappoint - Sun Yat Sen's personal and family history. Walked through the personal residence, the grounds then the museum depicting him as a young scholar to a revolutionary. His famous quote " The World is Equally Shared By All" on front wall before entering the grounds resonated with me. So much so, I bought a scroll with the quote in museum gift shop. Sun Yat Sen is considered the "George Washington" of China.

The place was well maintained and clean. Many paths to walk around especially in the afternoon to admire the flowers and typical Chinese buildings among streams and small waterfalls

I would suggest you to walk around there in the evening when it is not that hot and humid. You can kill some time there doing window shopping and try out some street food. Good thing that no motor vehicles are allowed in the entire area. You would end up 'QiJiang' River. There are more shops by the river and street performances in summer nights. There is a nice dessert shop along the river area that I liked their "steamed milk egg", "ginger milk", "double layers skin milk". I loved the dessert there.
