If you're going on foot: GO EARLY! The trail starts just next to Hotel Mursal in Yagodina village and zigzags up to the top. It took us 1 hour 40 minutes to get up there and we were rewarded with a fabulous view. And NO OTHER TOURISTS! We also had a picnic overlooking the Devil's Path on the other side of the valley (you can catch a glimpse of the besedka at the top with binoculars) and were lucky enough to see a couple of eagles fly past. Magical. TAKE A HAT AND WATER if you're doing it in summer as it's very exposed.

We`ve visit The Wonderful Bridges on our way to Smolyan.The road to the bridges isn`t too wide so I do advice to be careful while driving. However we visit the Wonderful bridges,had lunch at the restaurant near by and we descend down under via Zip line. Definitely should visit.

Cathedral of Saint Vissarion of Smolyan is the second biggest cathedral in Bulgaria. It is situated in the city centre of Smolyan. My pics are from 14th of December 2013.

It is a small village, however, it represents the Bulgarian architecture in a perfect way. Currently, the streets are under restoration, it will be much better to visit it after some months. Perfect location, hidden in the mountains and perfect for a weekend adventure.
