Rabaul War Cemetery

Very emotional experience. The guides from Kokopo Dive based at Rapopo Redort ensured our visit was safe. If you visit Rabaul you must see this memorial.

Rabaul (Bita Paka) War Cemetery

Reviewed By Sandi011 - Brisbane, Australia

After seeing the sites of Rabaul, we visited Bita Paka War Cemetery. It is beautifully kept with six huge rain trees, age unknown, guarding the gates and providing shade for visitors to the cemetery. What really impressed me was the overwhelming sense of peace I felt there. A memorable way to end our tour. I recommend it for those who are interested in history.

Bomana War Cemetery

Reviewed By aristc2019 - Bossley Park, Australia

A beautiful area to walk and soak up the serenity of the place. If you are a fan of war cemeteries and especially of Australian war dead, this is the place to visit . Again as it is located outside Port Moresby, it is highly recommend to ensure you travel with a reputable tour group or have security escort with you. Unfortunately Port Moresby is not safe to travel by yourself.

National Parliament House

The blend of old and new is strikingly exemplified in the Parliament House, which combines modern architecture with ancient design.

Reviewed By aristc2019 - Bossley Park, Australia

Apart from the Parliament with its lovely PNG art and carvings, the grounds are worth a walk around too. Ponds and sculptures are spread out and are nice to see. Also take note of the impressive art work at the entrance As to getting there highly recommend a tour as doing it independently is risky. This area unfortunately is not safe due to the high rate of crime.
