We had the most wonderful experience! Thank you Gord and Heather for a memorable experience! I was lucky enough to ride on Nugget during our two-hour trail ride, she was amazing. I will most definitely be back next year for another ride.

Kickin' Back Alpaca Ranch

Come fulfil your desire to meet alpacas and create memories you can treasure for a lifetime. We invite you right into the barn to meet our alpacas, get up close to learn about them, ask questions, feed them, and of course, take lots of photos. You will be amazed at how different each alpaca is, and what unique personalities they have. There are few things that are as cute and as soft as an alpaca. We offer The Private Alpaca Tour, and The Alpaca Lovers Farm Tour, pick the one that suits you the best and book it on-line. Appointments are required for all tours. All tours take place in the "girls" barn, where our moms and babies live. We are not out in the sun, snow, or rain; however, we do recommend that you dress appropriately for the temperature. The barn where the tour is held is fully wheelchair accessible. After the tour visit our store and see the wonderfully warm products we create from their fibre. For the comfort and safety of our alpacas please do not bring your dogs.

We are a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 9. We stayed a few nights at Blue Mountain and had a wonderful time. There’s so much to do; the Ridge Runner, mini putt, obstacle courses, play areas, gondola rides, movies in the square, shopping, or just sitting at the dock enjoying the outstanding views of the mill pond. We even enjoyed taking the shuttle to the private beach where we had a relaxing time swimming and kayaking. We were all able to walk far into the lake, because it’s a good distance before it starts getting too deep for the kids. Overall, we had a wonderful time making lasting memories with our kiddies.

Hoggs Falls

Reviewed By BarbG2017

Hoggs Falls loop (connected to the Bruce Trail) is a fantastic moderate hike around 5.7km. The Falls are beautiful but the rest of the trail provides a variety of interesting terrain. We did the hike in mid-October so the foliage was exceptional but we will definitely come back again in late Spring. It is very hilly and the damp leaves made some areas slippery and some parts of the trail were boggy - to be expected at this point in the Autumn - so good hiking shoes are a must. As much as my husband & I enjoyed the walk, our Golden, Max, enjoyed it ten times more! It is a great hike and worth driving out of your way to do.

Beautiful Joe Park

Reviewed By womanseyeview - Barrie, Canada

Dedicated to the author who wrote the book and also lived in Meaford, this is a delightful little park. Honouring those service dogs who help us through life there are a number of memorials. We were also touched by the walls of remembrance to beloved pets. Such a nice little discovery.
